The following day, Youngjae gave off the vibe of displeasure and contempt. His friends knew something was up with the brunette but they didn't utter a single word about his aura.

Halfway through the day, Youngjae left their class without a word, luckily, Yugyeom was quick to perceive his disappearance and made the others follow. They trailed the brunette who had taken notice of their stalking.

Slamming the classroom's door open, Youngjae's brown orbs would land on a certain red haired male who was smiling happily at his friends. He pushed aside the people who obstructed his way.

Yugyeom stared wide-eye at his Hyung odd behavior and glance at Mark.

"Hyung, what did you to do Youngjae-Hyung?"Yugyeom asked, eyeing the blonde who had the same expression as BamBam.

"Uh, all I told him was that I'd see him in school. . ."Mark answered unsure what he said last night. But as his eyes followed Youngjae's line of direction, he saw Jaebum.

"Oh . We need to help him."Mark said, and grabbed the two who stood behind him. Pushing the door open, they tried to follow him.

Youngjae pulled Jaebum's shoulder and pushed the older male backwards. Jaebum stumbled and knocked into one of the tables. He looked up, perplexed at his culprit. Jaebum mind register that it was Youngjae.

He glares venomously at the younger was about to retort back but Youngjae foot made him flinch and he was cornered against the table. One of Youngjae's foot was pressed against the table side, his left arm curled in a fist.

A treacherous silence bestowed upon the whole classroom at the courageous brunette who had trapped Jaebum within the table.

"What the Youngjae."Jaebum hissed.

"Oh, what the Youngjae?"Youngjae mocked Jaebum's voice and began to laugh making everyone feel uneasy."Shouldn't I be saying that to you, boy?"

Mark nearly choked on the air just hearing the word 'boy' escaping Youngjae's mouth. Yugyeom nods in approval at his Hyung's confidence. BamBam was staring between the boys who were ready to fight any second now.

"Did you just ing call me a—"

"You heard me correct Jaebum. Don't need to be act all stupid and make me repeat your name again."

No one knew what set Youngjae's fuse so abruptly. It was like the devil side of the younger awoken and hell was running loose.

"What have I ever done to you?"Jaebum inquired, his voice dropping into a dangerous tone. By now Youngjae would've step back and left but today he stood his ground and responded in the same voice.

"Done to me? Trust me Im, you have done a whole ton to me. I let those go, but yesterday's isn't being let go easily."Youngjae his backpack and took out all his notes, the one from Jaebum and his project. Putting on his backpack, he held the papers in the older's face.

"You see, lying has consequences Im Jaebum. And you're terrible at getting away from it. How was spending time with those girls than finishing your assignment that can help with your educations, uneducated Im?"

Such harsh words that was being spat made everyone take a step back and pondered how Jaebum could anger someone so much. Half the student in that class knew about Choi Youngjae.

Youngjae was the softest, benevolent, and patient person. But this Youngjae. This was a whole new Choi Youngjae.

〔 DADDYJAE 〕

Youngjae's brown eyes were filled with a roguish glint that sent shivers down their spines. Allowing some papers to scatter to the ground, both hands would grip the paper.

"Honestly, I don't care anymore. This project was a two-man job but unfortunately that is something you can't do for some reason. Tragic isn't it?"

No answer.

Complete silence.

Youngjae smirked and the sound of ripped paper echoed in the classroom. Jaebum's who was in complete shock stared at Youngjae who seemed like the cockiest guy alive was shredding the notes.

The former nice stacked papers that were in Youngjae's hand were now small pieces of paper. Throwing it in the air, he continued,"You're welcome. I hope you can explain to the teacher why your project why it isn't finished. And also, don't bother lying. The teacher already knows about my side of the story."

Jaebum regained himself and was close to grabbing Youngjae's shirt and punch him, but Mark was more swift. The foreigner seized the brunette and pulled him away. 

The trio held onto the brunette who had that arrogant smirk playing on his lips, enjoying Jaebum's wrath. 

Jackson and Jinyoung had to restrain their irritability redhead friend.

❝Yah. . .CHOI YOUNGJAE DO YOU WANT TO DIE?!❞

❝I hate you Im Jaebum.❞

Youngjae's calm answer infuriated Jaebum more than ever and he sharply inhaled, trying to find his sanity wherever the hell it was.

Mark distanced the two rivals and stare in disbelief.

"Enough! Youngjae, we need to talk. And Jaebum, lay off."Mark said, trying to separate the duo that kept trying to go at each other.

"That little brat needs to be taught a lesson."Jaebum retorted.

"What he said was right, except the insults."Mark responded, narrowing his eyes at the other male.

"I think everything I say is true."Youngjae scoffed.

"You little—"Jackson tighten his grip on Jaebum and prayed for the teacher to return. The Hong Kong male didn't comprehend why the teacher could be gone during the most intense and chaotic moment in class. 

"Tch, whatever. I'm leaving. I only came here to end things."Youngjae released himself from his younger friends and this time, whoever occluded his way had already step aside to prevent Youngjae from attacking them.

Without another word, the brunette had disappeared. The Maknae followed after their Hyung. Mark stayed behind and sighed profoundly.

"If you try to hurt Youngjae, I assure you Jaebum. It won't end well."Mark warned the redhead.

"Why would he need to be warned?"Jackson interrupted, irritation palpable in his voice. Mark soft eyes turned into a glare.

"Because. Insulting isn't the only thing Youngjae could do. You should just drop everything and leave us alone. After all, if Jaebum actually did his work, maybe he wouldn't get called out."

Mark left the classroom and soon it was followed by a perturbed silence.
