The instant Youngjae woke up. He felt terribly sick. So sick that he wanted to skip school for eternity. He groaned and twisted himself in his blankets even more and was a lump of messy hair and flimsy arms.

He ignored the alarm but it began to irk him even more, so he grabbed it and chuck it across the room, groaning louder to indicate his sickness to his mom. 

Youngjae was pretty loud, so his mom was curious and went up the stairs to see the problem. She stepped inside his room and saw her son tangled up like a mess on his own bed, making tons of noises.

"Youngjae!"

The latter shift his eyes to the door and mumbled a 'good morning' and tried to turn away. Suddenly, cold hands touched his face and he whimpered, trying to hide in his cocoon.

"Youngjae-ah, what is this?"

"Mom, this is call sickness. All humans experience this pain."

She rolled her eyes at her son's sarcastic response and pulled him up. He whined and shook his head, in hoping to shake the drowsiness away but unfortunately, it made it worse. He slumped back down but only to smack the back of his head on the headboard.

"OW."

Youngjae was practically a dying teenager, wrapped in a cocoon and making a lot of noises in the morning. Just from sickness.

"Youngjae, honey, what's wrong?"

"I've been paired up to help stupid JB on his project and I don't know why I'm so emotionally unstable and sick."Youngjae answered.

"Wait? JB? Like your old be—"

The sick latter turned to his mother and she immediately dropped her voice. She knew what had went down between her son and his best friend. She sighed and pulled some of hair back.

"Alright. I'll make some porridge for you."She smiled and opened his window to allow the cool air to freshen up the damp room. Youngjae smiled fondly at his mother and watched her exit his room.

Hours had passed and Youngjae's mom went to work, leaving him to himself. Youngjae was currently in the living sitting on layers on comfy blankets and snacks around him. Even in a bad condition, he found comfort in eating junk food. Although he did keep the porridge on the coffee table besides him.

He was watching a drama and it was halfway through the episode, he watched it already but why not rematch it.

His phone rang and he answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hyung!"He heard Yugyeom voice piped through the phone.

"What's up Yugyeomie?"

"I was worried about you since you have the tendency to be clingy and whiny when being sick, so you're weak and might end up dying when—"

"YAH."Youngjae managed to yell at the younger across the phone, making him laugh."I'm not dead! I'm alive and trying to get well."

"Great news, good attempts Hyung."

"Keep your sarcasm out this conversation bird hair."

Youngjae heard another loud laugh from the other side and assumed it was BamBam and Mark. 

"Oh, we got to tell you something also."He heard BamBam spoke up.

"What is it?"Youngjae responded, feeling sleepy suddenly.

"JB asked for you. He said he wanted to speak to you."Mark voice said though the phone, making the sick latter drowsiness began to slowly falter.

"What? Why?"

"He said it was between you and him, plus after we said we didn't know, he disappeared. Plus he wasn't even in one class."

"And you're telling me this cause why?"

"Because—"

Loud knocks were heard causing Youngjae to squeak and nearly drop his phone. The knocking continued after a few second. He grabbed the remote and lowered the volume.

"Hyung? What's wrong?"BamBam asked through the phone.

"I think someone's at my door."

"Answer it then."

"Ugh, people makes me wanna throw them off a cliff into a ocean filled with sharks."Youngjae muttered and heaved himself up and towards the door.

The line was still on, so the others were able to hear what was occurring on Youngjae's side. The loud knocks were still continuing and Youngjae growled,"Alright! Alright! I'm coming!"

"Does this person ever heard of patience?"Youngjae hissed to the phone.

"Obviously not. But I think I might know."Mark answered with a chuckle.

He opened the door and was greeted with the one person he didn't expect at all.

"Youngjae-Hyung? Who is at the door?"

"Guys, I think I know—"

"Mark-Hyung! Be quiet, we're trying to hear—"

Youngjae didn't bother to tell his friends to shut up because he was in shock to see the one and only Im Jaebum standing at his doorstep with the words in a bitter voice,"So, Choi Youngjae. How's staying home?"
