You Want Me
Don't you?

Wants 025
I want you to talk to him, as soon as possible.

It wasn't a rational decision, but it was the best she can come out so far. She had to. There was no other way to get that amount of cash. There weren't enough time for her to get that amount of cash. She had to do what she can to help Myungsoo. So she did. She transferred Myungsoo to the hospital Daesom is in. But now what?

She felt guilty.

They were having breakfast at the table. He probably hadn't realize it, but he's bound to find out at the end of the month. What excuse can she give when he questions her about it? She technically could have returned him the money, but that would take awhile. And that didn't change the fact that he will ask her what did she do with that sum of money.

Should she tell him? She honestly thought it wasn't necessary. He didn't seem to like Myungsoo when she mentioned him as a seatmate. Does it matter? That wasn't part of his business to begin with, so why should she care if he'd come to dislike Myungsoo?

She sighed and stabbed the baby potato on her plate.

"What's with the sigh in such an early morning?" She stiffened when he decided to talk. He noticed. She dropped the fork and rested her chin on her palm.

Say it. "Nothing much." Just do it. "I was just wondering..."

Tell him the truth.

"Why is my husband so good looking? I wonder." She smiled when he rolled his eyes and grabbed a tissue to wipe his lips.

She wasn't lying about that. Mark is good looking. That's a given, something she had known since she lands her eyes on him. Come to think of it, she never expected herself to be here in the first place. To be able to sit in front of him, have breakfast with him... Stay with him. These are all part of a fairy tale that she'll probably wake up from. One day, she'll come to realize that this was all a dream, and she is still living in the past that she thought had been long gone.

One day, she'll come to realize that everything was just an act, like how it was to begin with.

He cleared his throat. "Have you fallen for me?" He raised an eyebrow, probably trying to act cocky.

She chuckled. "I am married to you." She said. "And I can't even look at other guys, so I'd enjoy the only man I can look at." She said, despite the stabbing feeling on her back.

Lies. She got up from her seat and took the plates. You have been seeing Myungsoo. That was a lie. It wasn't the same feeling. It was no longer the same.

Mark clicked his tongue. He knew he shouldn't have anticipated her answer, but he did anyway. He did, and got a huge bruise from the reality that came hammering his head as if he was a weasel. He wouldn't express it in words, nor will he express it physically in action, but he was rather disappointed with her answer.

Look. He pressed his lips thin and watched as she turns her back against him. She was washing the dishes, and he was supposed to get ready to go to work now. But he continued to stare at her.

She only looked at you because she was told to. He rose from his seat. She'll never look at you if she was given the chance.

"Are you leaving already?" She turned around and asked.

"Yeah." He said, grabbing his coat. "Don't you have work too?" He asked, and she smirked.

"My shifts' only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays." She said. "Todays a Thursday, so, nope. I've got no work."

She shrugged playfully and approached him. "Are you coming back for dinner?" She asked, her hands reached to fix his tie.

He sighed. "Probably not." He said, and she frowned. "Why not?" She asked, pursing her lips uncomfortably. He'll never miss out on dinner, so why couldn't he be back on time today?

"Discussion with Jaebum's company... With his father as well." He said. "It's some new project."

Jaebum. She stiffened at the name. And his father...? Jiae's frown deepened then. How conveniently of things to move to this aspect after she's done with the other. Then again... Should I...? She was hesitating, still hesitating when she follows Mark to the doorstep. He was putting on his shoes, and when he was done, he reached for the door knob.

"I'm leaving now." He smiled and pinched her cheek. "Behave yourself at home."

"I'm not a kid." She pouted and rubbed her cheek. "And are you really not coming back for dinner?" She just wanted to make sure.

"Yeah." He raised an eyebrow. "Why? Will you miss me when I'm gone?"

Her lips curled into a gentle smile. "Maybe?" She chortled and reached to grab his arm. "I'll miss your face, Mark."

"Only my face." He groaned, and she giggled in response. She'll definitely miss this alright. She smiled and patted his back. "Go to work, silly." She laughed and pushed him out of the door.

"Have fun working!" She waved, and he rolled his eyes. "Sure, wife." He groaned and entered the elevator.

She watched as the elevator door closes, and a sigh drew passed. Why couldn't she just tell him about the card? She frowned and closed the door. There was nothing wrong with it, she should have just said something. But Why couldn't she? All she had to do is talk. But why did she choose to stop? She needed the money for Myungsoo's hospital fees, she needed the money to help him. How hard is it to say that?

Because he wouldn't believe me. She nibbled her lips and curled her fingers to a fist. No one believes me.

Her story was the pitiful story of the child who cried wolf. She had done that so many times that no one believes her anymore.

"Just admit it, Jiae." She entered the closet and brought out the bag that she left hidden in the corner of the room. It was the same old bag that she brought along when she first came here. She ped the bag and took out the brown envelop that she had kept in the bag. "Tell them the truth. That you started it."

She opened the envelop and dropped the contents. The sound of plastic, and the sound of paper fell, scattered around the room.

"Stop denying it already."

She picked up the paper, or rather, one particular article. The paper was old, almost tearing apart. She brushed it gently, her eyes turned moist at the portrait. "It's all your fault." She swallowed all the tears and picked up the things that were scattered on the ground. She should have just kept them back in the envelop. She shouldn't have opened it in the first palce. Piece by piece, she picked up the items. And bit by bit, she recalled the things the people in uniforms had told her back then.

"Little rascals like you never learn." She paused, eyes stared at the torn letter kept in the plastic bag. "You'll repeat the same mistake and end up here again."

She pursed her lips, her expres

Chapter 11: chapter 10 : this story is not logic at all hdhdjsjs but i'm not complaning. Their relationship is too natural and how do i say it? It's impossible to be so friendly and lovey dovey to a stranger that you're going to marry right? Or maybe it's just how Jiae bright and strong personality works. The plot is pretty cliche but i like the characters. Love how you potrayed them!
