PROLOGUE
HEAVEN'S EYES“No,” Junmyeon said softly as his hands wandered in the dark, hoping for something to grab on.
“Don’t leave me in the darkness.”
Junmyeon’s voice was coarse and raspy as he breathed heavily. After touching nothing but air, he stopped moving forward and wrapped his arms around his shoulders instead. Wherever he was, he felt cold. His shoulders and legs shivered and trembled.
Above all, Junmyeon felt scared. It’s cold and dark. What could possibly be scarier than that? He had never felt so alone in his entire life before. He curled himself and hugged his legs to his chest.
Where are you? He thought, Where did you go? Please come back…I need you.
He closed his eyes as he drowned into the darkness around him. He remembered those hands that wrapped around his body protectively every night. He remembered those eyes he had fallen in love with. He remembered those lips that always curved up when he laid eyes on him. He remembered those fingers that clutched his owns when they were out for a walk. He remembered those tears that had fallen against his cheeks. He remembered that voice that whispered through his ears and warmed his heart.
Junmyeon longed for it. He wanted it back. And he wondered if it was even possible for that to happen. Without him realizing it, tears flowed uncontrollably down his cheeks. They trickled down his chin and drenched the collar of his shirt. He buried his head between his knees and
