Jae Rim's POV

He had done some research on her after that embarrassing first (and second) meeting. He was surprised he didn't find anything more than photos, the projects she was involved in and the charities she supported. He found lots of comments of fans who wanted her with Kim Bum and were disappointed that he was her virtual husband. For a woman with a 10 year career she had a pretty spotless profile. 

The lack of information confirmed his initial impression of this woman he was married to. Her tough exterior hid her vulnerability from people and she would run away from anyone who dared to break through her wall. He wondered what had forced her to put up such defense. Although he didn't need to, he was in it for the fame, he wanted to know more about her, But he realized he wouldn't be able to get through to her if he probed so he would share his own stories with her. Maybe his sharing would help her feel more comfortable with him.

'I am really lucky to have the job I have now,' he told her. She looked at him, as though silently enquiring why he had said that. But she didn't say anything. He fell silent too. For some reason, he felt like he bared more to her than he wanted with that sentance. He was worried he would seem needy or poor because of what he said. He had no shame that he was poor, but he didn't want pity.

'I'm sure it isn't luck but your hard work is paying off,' she said quietly. 

He looked at her, trying to read wh
