AfterJae Rim’s POV
She had insisted on driving, even though he wanted to be the gentleman and drive her back to Seoul.
‘You will fall asleep on the wheel and then my life will be in danger!’ she snapped at him before grabbing the keys and walking to the driver’s seat.
It may sound like she was insulting him and people might think he was being too soft to let her win but he loved his bossy little wife.
She claimed to do everything for her own good when the cameras were not on and that she didn’t have to pretend that she was the generally sweet wife the world needed to see.
But he knew she cared. She hadn’t argued with him about who will drive back until he yawned on the way out of the restaurant.
He realized she hid her care behind her sharp words.
Maybe she was scared; maybe she was worried he would ask more from her.
Whatever her reasons he never told her that she did not need to do that.
That he could see through the wall she was trying to build to keep him out of her life and that he would only ever want to be a friend to her as she was to him.
He was worried she would become shy and stop talking to him as much.
He desperately wanted her to keep taking care of him.
So he didn't say anything but obediently got into the passenger seat.
‘Thank you oppa, for the whole day today,’ she said softly.
