They were supposed to keep in touch to ensure they maintained their chemistry but she didn’t want to burden him with communication. 

She was silently pleased that he’d remembered her. 

But she didn’t want to give him the satisfaction that she was pleased. 

So she sent him a cute cartoon then realized it could be taken too seriously. So she quickly ended with ‘babo’. 

They have been together long enough to know that he would know she meant it in a loving way.
