Jae Rim’s POV

In his last relationship, when he and his girlfriend were very serious, his girlfriend had tricked him into thinking they were going out for lunch but brought him to a wedding dress shop instead.

His girlfriend had hinted that she wanted a big wedding with lots of people and a fancy dress.

He was happy to give her a beautiful dress but he suggested a small wedding.

‘It would be very expensive’ he told her rationally.

She had gotten mad at him and the day ended badly.

He should have realized she just wanted more, so much more that he could not give.

More of his time, more of his money, more of him.

As though having more was proof he loved her.

But he couldn’t give her what she wanted.

He had asked So Eun whether she wanted a big wedding or a small wedding.

He didn’t know why since…it wasn’t like they were really dating or going to get married.

But he was still pleased when she said she liked smaller weddings.

This was the first time he would ever see a woman he could call his ‘own’ in a wedding dress.

He wanted to record every moment of it, even if it was a fake marriage, he wanted to keep this memory because he felt it would be precious.

When he saw her he almost couldn’t believe she was the same woman.

‘You look pretty’ didn’t sound honest enough and sounded too cliché but…he couldn’t think of anything else to say.
