I peeped into Seyong’s room to see he was sleeping so I took the chance to meet Thunder

At Cafe Blanc...

“C-Cheondung?” I looked at him in surprise, he looked totally different from the last time I saw him

“Hanmi!” He came over to hug me

“You look so different”

“You like it?” He smiled

I nodded “You look great!”

“Jina will be meeting with us too, it feels great to be back”

*, what if she tells him about Seyong and me?*

I played around with my phone nervously

“Are you ok?”

He placed his hand on my arm “You can tell me”

I bit my lip *should I tell him?* Thunder has been my crush for as long as I can remember and I’ve known him since birth.

“I-“

“Hey guys!” Jina came just in time

“Hey!” Thunder got up to hug her and sat back down

“Hanmi! So, you got yourself out of that marriage yet?”

“uhh” I couldn’t think, damn Jina, why did you have to mention it?!

“Y-you’re getting married?!” Thunder looked at me in complete shock

I nodded, I couldn’t even look at him

“When did you get engaged?”

“2 days ago” Jina answered for me “She’s getting married to-“

I interrupted before she could say anymore “I’m going to go, see you guys later”

“So soon? You feeling ok?”

“I’m...fine, bye” I left and sat in my car for a few minutes, tears rolled down my face and they wouldn’t stop.

Thunder P.O.V

*MARRIED?!! I’ve been gone for a few months and she’s getting married?! I wish I didn’t leave now, maybe this probably wouldn’t have happened*

“Jina?”

“Yes?”

“When did she meet this guy? Was she seeing him after I left?”

She shook her head “She met him two days ago”

“What?!”

“It’s an arranged marriage, in order to join Lee Corp. with Kim Co.”

I sat in shock...

Hanmi P.O.V

“Are you ok?”

I looked up to see Seyong. I quickly tried wiped away my tears and tried not to look at him directly

“Why are you crying?” He got in the car with me “I know you told me not to follow you but...I felt worried, sorry”

I got out the car and walked away, I didn’t want to talk to him

“Hanmi!” He ran after me

I walked a little faster but he came in front of me and blocked my path

“Stop crying” He brought me into his arms into a hug, it felt so comforting

“You don’t have to tell me but please stop crying, ok?” He said gently

I nodded and he wiped away my tears

“You wanna go home?”

I shook my head.

Just then I saw Thunder coming out of the cafe with Jina following

Seyong P.O.V

She was looking at this blonde guy coming out of the cafe with Jina, and wondered *Is this the guy that made Hanmi cry?* I didn’t want to jump to conclusions but knew she didn’t want him to see her at that time so I quickly pulled her behind a wall with me, out of sight.

“You don’t want that guy seeing you, right?”

She nodded shyly

Thunder P.O.V

I walked out of the cafe with Jina, I really wish Hanmi didn’t leave.

“Isn’t that Hanmi’s car?” I suddenly spotted her car which was still parked in the car park

Jina nodded “So she hasn’t left?”

“I’ll give her a call” I took out my phone and quickly called her

Seyong P.O.V

*Damn, why are they still there?* We were both waiting for the guy and Jina to leave but they were just stood there

All of a sudden Hanmi’s phone started ringing...really loudly!

“” She quickly took her phone out and tried to stop the ringing but too late...they found us

Thunder P.O.V

We followed the loud ringing and tracked her down to behind a wall near the cafe, she was with a red headed guy, who was hugging her.

“Who’s this?”

The guy quickly let go of Hanmi

“Wah~ He’s so handsome” Jina was staring at him “So this is your future husband?”

Hanmi stayed silent, the guy started to whisper something in her ear

Seyong P.O.V

I leaned over to whisper something in her ear “You want to go now?”

She looked up at me and nodded

I lifted her up bridal style, she buried her head into my chest, I guess she didn’t want anyone to see her face as she had been crying.

“Sorry, we’re going to leave now” I made my way to my car when suddenly the blonde caught my arm, I turned around.

He looked down at Hanmi who was trying to avoid any eye contact with him

“You can tell me, I’ll be waiting” He said calmly

*Tch, who is this guy?* I started walking away again and sat her in my car. We drove off back to my house

During the car journey she fell asleep.

“We’re here” I shook her gently

She slowly opened her eyes

“You ok?”

She turned away

*I guess not then...* I thought to myself

“Who was that guy back there?”

She didn’t say anything

“Are you two-“

She interrupted “He’s Thunder, a friend of mine”

I was too scared to ask but did anyway “And you...like him?”

 She nodded

 “We’ve known each other ever since we were born...whenever we were together it felt...perfect”

For some reason it felt like my heart had shattered. Just when I was starting to fall for her more and more I find out she likes another man.
