I blinked at the window, where Sooki had just fled, my whole body shuddered. We hadn't...so why? I shook my head and pulled the quilt off, sliding my legs over the edge and standing. I took one more look towards the window and wedged my bottom lip between my teeth, I pulled on some Pants and unconciously called for Kai. He appeared in a matter of seconds.

"You called for me hyung?" Kai looked round the room in confusion. "What happened? Did she upset you again?" I smiled a little and shook my head.

"She went to see Ryeowook-Hyung. I need you to tail her. Something isn't right, She was scared. I don't need to be her mate to see that, it was so obvious." I pulled on my Jacket and picked up my keys. "I'm going to get her some clothes. She isn't going back to the Shinee pack like this." 

"Hyung." Kai placed his hand on my shoulder and i nodded at him silently. "You really should stop the D.O act. We both know you were just shocked."

"Look at it from my point JongIn-ah, going for years not knowing that you've marked someone. That sudden rush of emotion caught me offguard, It hurt when she sang that first day, I couldn't understand why a mere human affected me so much. Then i find out she's a wolf, and not only that but someone i have Marked?! It was a lot to take in. Plus, you know as well as I do that D.O is technically the power within me." Kai nodded at me and my heart-shaped lips turned up in a sad smile. "I don't want her to feel burdened that i'm already in love with her." My best friend teleported off with a pop and i made my way down the stairs. I grabbed the book i wanted and sat, flicking through the pages.

'After a mating has taken place, powers are often shared. There is a rare occurance that has been recorded of sharing power before mating. This is passed through 'Marking'. If signs are shown and your optional mate has not been marked it is possible they aren't a full breed. Studies have shown wolves can mate with almost any species, most drawn to the power or strong aura of their Mate.'

I tilted my head at the passage, Sooki was able to use my powers because i marked her? I scanned the passage again, but nothing new was revealed. If that was the case then i should be able to use hers too. I thought of the easiest person to fool, Tao - who was sat opposite me, and willed for him to see a bug fly under his nose. Nothing happened. Tao continued to eat his pizza and flick through his magazine.

"You ok, Soo?" Kris sat next to me and i nodded but then shook my head, he didn't notice. "Is Luna coming down too? you seemed close this morning. Did something good happen?" 

"Hyung? Where is Lay?" I closed the book on my lap and followed the direction of his pointing finger. "Thanks." I shuffled into the kitchen and sat down opposite Suho and Lay, who were in deep discussion. I cleared my throat and they looked up.  "Sooki... went to see Ryeowook-Hyung. She..."

"Used your powers, i know. She uses mine too." Lay scratched the back of his head, "I figured it was just because i was supposed to be with her, recently.. I have had my mind on other matters." Suho wrapped a hand around the chinese male's one. "Suho marked and mated with me this morning..." Lay gave a sheepish smile. "I found out when i accidently turn on all the showers in the house, It scolded Him but he healed right up." 

"So you guys can use each others power?" My already big eyes widened further the two elders nodding at me, blushes covering their cheeks. "Odd, I can't use Sooki's. She used mine this morning..." I stood as Kai appeared by the door.

"Nothing new, he said sometimes it just happenes. She's on her way back." He jabbed his thumb out the double doors and i turned my attention to her. My heart started beating out of rythm as she came back inside the house, she smiled and i couldn't help but smile with her.

"Sorry if i worried you, I'm better now...Wait..." Her eyes found Lay's hand on the table and she squealed. "LAY! SUHO! How could you keep this from me?!" I watched as she folded her arms and an adorable pout crossed her face. "Now who am i supposed to be with when Kyungsoo mates with Kai?!" I froze, my heart felt like it was being stabbed. 

"Sooki.. we discussed this." I mummured and she scratched her head.

"Mianhae, I forgot." She shrugged and i nodded to let her know it was ok. "Hey..Kyungsoo?" My eyes met hers and i got lost in her eyes for a moment. "Can you use my power too?" I shook my head and she frowned. "Well that's not fair." 

"You'll have to mate with him for that." Kai wriggled his eyebrows at him and i cursed him for spending too much time with the 'Trolls'. My cheks flushed in embarrassment, I mean sure, I love her, but that's not a discussion to have when Sooki doesn't even want me. I silently brushed past Kai and headed back to my room, flopping down on the bed. This was ridiculous! She's marked, She should be feling everything i am. Why is she in denial? 

"K-Kyungsoo.." I barely moved as she approached and sat next to me. "I Just need time, I need to get used to it. I was always taught that i would be Lay's. So to be given to someone i barely know...It's difficult for me." I snorted out a huff and she pulled me to sit up. I bit my lip, her own lip clamped in her teeth. I summoned courage and pulled her into my lap. I even shocked myself. Usually, i cant utter a single word to a girl. Since she appeared, i gained a part of me i thought i had lost with my parents. "I'm not saying i don't like you, I'm saying that i'm not ready to love you yet." My heart twisted at the words and i felt her hands on both of my cheeks. "Can't it just be taken slowly?" I nodded innocently and swapped so my hands cupped her face.

"We can go slowly, but...I really have no control right now." My cheeks deepened to a crimson. "I haven't kissed anyone, but with you... it's all i'm thinking about right now." I wasn't lying, My eyes trailed to her lips and i stayed frozen.

"W-want to try?" I watched as her lip wedged itself behind her teeth once more, i swallowed hard and nodded. i raised my thumb and released her lip from it's prison of teeth. I leant forward, our foreheads pressing against each other, i could hear her heart pounding as she closed her lids over her eyes. Our noses brushed as i tilted my head, it sent shivers down my spine. I finally gave in to my instincts, the wolf inside me giggling like a teenage girl, and pressed my lips against hers as soft as possible, i wasn't expecting to feel pressure back, but Sooki....kissed me back. My heart exploded.
