Mark felt really bad stepping on a really good picture frame and cracking it. He even felt worse when he saw the hurt look on the girl's face so he was surprised when she said it was okay and smiled at him. The smile didn't reach her eyes, of course, and for some reason, Mark felt a twist in his gut. He later noticed the ruined box she had been carrying and it was labeled "TO BURN." He wondered if it was just a coincidence or she purposefully did that. 

Funny that he would be curious. He never usually care about these stuff. It didn't have anything to do with him anyway. Yet he kind of felt like he added to her pain. He had to take responsibility of it and so he offered to help her bring her stuff over to her apartment. And to know that she was a foreigner in this country as well, he felt some sort of kinship.

Even though Eunhye told Mark to just leave the box by the door, he went ahead and brought the one he was carrying in.

"Are you going to hang these up somewhere?" he asked, seeing the posters and looking around her house.

"AniyoI won't," she said. No point explaining she was going to get rid of those stuff. That might just lead to questions that she had no answers for.

There was a bark and from a room came out a running Shi Tzu. Eunhye got it from EXO's Kai a year ago. The dog ran frantically to her and wagged her tail so forcefully, Eunhye was afraid it would fall off.

"Uwaa~~ gwiyeowo!"

The girlish squeal didn't come from Eunhye, and she was sure of that because she never squealed. She turned to see Mark on his knees and petting her pet, Peachy, who immediately left her upon meeting a new friend. Right now, Peachy was kissing Mark's cheek.

"No more dinner for you, Peachy," she said to her dog. "You're eating his face real fast, leave some for later."

Mark laughed at that. Now, Eunhye could see more life in his eyes than the bored look he had when she first saw him.

"Oh, look at her," she went on when Peachy cuddled her head . "Just go live with him, then."
