Hae In’s POV

I returned home and plopped myself on the sofa. My roommate also known as my best friend in Korea, Min Yeong, was lying on the floor watching TV. “Don’t lie on the floor and watch TV, it’s bad for your eyes.” I nagged at her.

She was still studying in Seoul University. She was my roommate and I paid her rent every month. However, she became my best friend who took me around Seoul and we would stay up for the nights to chat. She also knew that I was working for 2PM but she showed no interest to them. She was more interested in another boy group.

She was watching a music show on a certain channel. And then, her eyes became so focused so I looked at what she was dazzled by.

*coughs* *coughs*

The person on the screen finished his rap and Min Yeong squealed. The person had really small eyes with poor eye bags. He needed a good night’s sleep. Maybe I was just used to seeing 2PM’s fresh faces without any pimples or eye bags. For men, 2PM really took good care of their skin. I envied them. I asked her, “Oh my god, did he just make a mistake there?”

“No! It was flawless!” She defended.

“I swear I heard him cough twice before he started rapping, Min Yeong!” I explained as I still remembered the distinctive coughs he made.

Min Yeong laughed and rolled her eyes, “It’s originally in the song, Min Yeong. He coughed on purpose.”

“Seriously?! Coughing… in a song?” I snorted.

Min Yeong grabbed my shoulders, “You should really start listening to Korean songs that are not sang by 2PM only. There are many other boy bands to be discovered!”

I removed her hands and shook my head, “No thanks. I took 2 weeks to remember all of 2PM members’ names and faces. I don’t want to confuse myself by remembering other idol groups’ names, thank you very much.”

I got into my room and my laptop. I decided to listen to some songs before I started on my work. For some reason, I began to search the song – On Rainy Days which I heard on the TV just few minutes ago. I listened to the lyrics of the rap. It was beautiful. I kept replaying the song. Wow, maybe this group wasn’t that bad after all.

However, I turned off the music and started on my work, forgetting about the new song that I had just heard.

Very short chapter but I promise you another long chapter later today. This reflects my own reaction when I first heard Jun Hyung singing this song when he started coughing.
