“H..hi Jungkook.”

I greet him as soon as I walked outside my room the next morning. I was planning to talk to him this morning, and luckily fate did come to me today.  I try to sound normal as possible, but my voice betrayed me like usual, and my sound ended up stuttering. I mentally slapped myself. *Oh this is surely awkward.*

As I expected he send me a cold glare when he sees me, but it somehow doesn’t look murderous like usual, and it makes me feel a bit relief. I hesitantly stepped forward towards him, and finding that he already raised his brows, amused.

“I thought you planned to skip your class today. Your wound—“

“It just a small cut. I’m not going to die by it.” His sound sounds harsh, and I feel a bit offended.

“Are you mad at me? I’m sorry for being careless and almost risking your life to save me.” My voice contains full of guilt and Jungkook just sighs.

“No. I’m not mad. Stop apologizing to me.” I look up and find Jungkook’s face. His gaze wanders everywhere, except me. Is Jungkook..embarrassed? No way.

“….”

“….”

There it is. Another silence passing us, and I feel myself turning redder by seconds.

“.. can we be friends?”

Those words accidently blurt out from my mouth without much thinking. Jungkook eyes turned wider with my words, surprised for my sudden question.

My cheeks reddened even more with his sharp stare. “N..no I was just-thinking that I-uh, we—“

“Whatever, weirdo.”

He walked past me, and I suddenly feel butterflies again. With his behavior, I know that he actually agreed about it.

He just say YESS!! I mentally did a ceremonial dance inside my head and smile never left my lips. I wasn’t able to celebrate further as Jungkook already arrive downstairs, eyeing me weirdly.

“Do you wanna be late? Hurry up, weirdo.”

*He just give me a nickname—wait ‘weirdo’ is bad! But at least he acknowledge me.*

“I’m leaving.”

“Wait for me!” I ran downstairs, with the brightest smile my lips ever gave to anyone.

I’m such a love-struck idiot, did I?

“OH MY GOD V YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPEN EARLIER!!” I giggled like a mad fan girl and V watch me with a raised brow, questioning my bright mood this morning.

“Tell me. Every single detail of it.” I blinked my eyes to V who looks like a policeman who was about to investigate a criminal. He practically dragging me to the secluded area after me and Jungkook separated ourselves to our classroom.

“Jungkook agreed to be friends with me. Not like he accept it directly but—today he actually having a conversation with me!”

My eyes glistening in happiness and V’s eyes softened. *She already falling hard for the maknae. What a lucky bastard, she’s
