My name rose as one of the three survivors from our country's deadliest road accident near Meridian Highlands a year ago. It was the salient turning point in my life—the beginning of a roller coaster ride where I met with Cha Eunjung—and again in another world.

Cha Eunjung asked: am I not curious about her? She spelled out her name unblinkly with those ever familiar eyes of hers. The fear of losing her, regurged; my heart constricted up to the point where it felt so dysfunctional. Inside, it cursed tragedy all over again—to live under the same sky—same world—with her.
