ROL's Layout Tutorial
Description
Hello n' Welcome
♥ Thank you again for using my layouts ♥
First and foremost, this tutorial is applicable ONLY for any layouts which marked by the element {CONTENTID#}
▼
BEFORE activation, MUST own a layout from the marketplace
▼
{CONTENTID#} is basically a space where you can replace words, insert pictures, put on music or even video.
DEMO
⇊ demo layout ⇊
⇊ this is the layout you could get from marketplace ⇊
note the element --> {CONTENTID#}
➀ Click 'Change Layour'at the end of story's page. Proceed to choose layout you wants to activate.
➁ In order to replace your own words inside the {CONTENTID#}, just type [CONTENTID#] in front of your very first word/paragraph then seal it with [/CONTENTID1] at the end of your last word/paragraph.
➂ Below will be the outcome for the above application. Do notice at the highlighted rectangle parts; the two paragraph were displaying different font, color, spacing compared to each other.
These were happening due to the original settings (blue) that I've had set were reset into default when you press "enter" in order to start a new paragraph.
Come back and take a closer view at the ➁ picture. Do you notice that [CONTENTID2] had two line while the others (1&2) had only one (meaning NO énter')
➃ Now you have understood the reason behind, next you have two choice: either you wants to follow the original settings (blue) or, you could also customizes on your own.
If you wants to just follow the blue's setting, simply DON'T press enter.
Take a look at below picture, instead of two line like that from the ➁ picture, there was only one paragraph.
➄ With default settings, yield only one paragraph.
But what if you wants more?
➅ In order to see clearly, please open a new tab for image.
Firstly, you still need to briefly look through the default settings. For [CONTENTID1], the text were aligned centrally; and so in order to edit, just change the font style, size, colors in a normal way but afterwards do not forget to align it to center (2).
QUESTION! How would you know if the text's alignment? left, center, right, or none?
1 - Guess from its position.
2 - After editing, refresh your front page and see your words, i.e. Haunted is aligned centrally or the other way around. It should be easy to guess/adjust.
Take a look at [CONTENTID2] below, I've changed the font, colors, also put it into a new paragraph. And so, the default settings would be replace by the new customizations made.
➆ Lastly, save changes then refresh the page.
Below were the result of changes I had made.
IMPORTANT INFO:
The only thing that you can change from any layouts with the element {CONTENTID#} is the {CONTENTID#} itself. With that being said, you absolutely cannot change the picture, music, and also the link (if any) unless of course, if the overall codes are provided.
HOWEVER, you could still put in picture, music, and also links as long as its within the {CONTENTID#}. Just insert the image from the image window (above bar) and it definitely would shows inside the layout. It is the same case with music (www.soundcloud.com-embed) but perhaps you might need to adjust the size etc.
Hello everyone, I'm lusckairi@ nucleus@ pacemaker. I hope this demo tutorial could make some of your FAQ clearer.
Please also be reminded that, I will only give out codes to the layout that requires inserting picture, i.e. character profile, shop layout, etc. If the layouts you bought is marked with "PM For Codes", please, please PM me for the codes. Because for this particular layout, you can't change the picture by using above method,.
I couldn't possibly trace everyone who has had bought which layouts of mine, so before you think I've cheated or something, please take note about this.
Some might not even reaches this part but all in all, I truly hoped that most find the answer that yáll are looking for.
For those who are curious, nucleus, lusckairi and pacemaker is the same person (me >.<). So, just PM any of that acc will do.
Thank you for using my layouts, have a nice day :)
