Captain Yoo Si Jin believes soldiers should stay away from affairs of the heart because for them, love becomes a handicap. He’ll lose if he loves and he absolutely hates losing. Although people call them the peacekeepers, Si Jin likes to think of himself as a fighter, a warrior. After all, war is easy, peace is hard.

When he sees Doctor Kang Mo Yeon, he knows instantly. He remembers the shipwreck sitting in the middle of the beach, the end of something when it’s been bewitched by a beautiful thing and maybe the end of him now too. He tries hard to ignore her when she arrives in Urk because they are merely familiar strangers bumping into each other while passing by. But, he just couldn’t take his eyes off her.

She is a doctor and he is a soldier. He understands no girl would ever love a guy when they both have to constantly live on the edge every day so he leaves her with an apology. He sets off back to Urk immediately after he hears of the earthquake because Yoo Si Jin is a leader and he can’t abandon his men behind. Time stops for him when he sees Doctor Kang standing in front of him and he’s never felt so relieved before.
