“When are you ever returning the seat to me?” Sunggyu sighs when he finds Sungyeol in what used to be his spot again.
“Walk faster next time, hyung.” Myungsoo adds before brushing past him and taking his usual spot by the window in the van.
The members all pat him sympathetically as they pass.
Sunggyu finally heads in where he’s sandwiched between Woohyun and Hoya at the back, and he lets out another defeated sigh.
They reach the building earlier than expected, but the writers immediately rush them into the waiting room. Outside in the lobby, a tiny TV screen is showing the news report about the impending heavy snow.
“Thank you for the hard work!” the boys chorus and bow politely to the staff on their way out.
“Hyung, you’re too slow again,” Sungyeol chirps happily. “Should we have ramyun later?”
“Call,” everyone answers readily.
“Rock, paper, scissors,” Sungyeol suggests. “Loser cooks.”
Sunggyu notices the not so secretive glances they exchange because the kids have horrible acting. He decides to go with rock anyway.
“You guys are gonna step all over my head at this rate,” Sunggyu complains, but he doesn’t seem to mind so much.
They’re bursting out in Christmas songs although Christmas is already over.
“Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle all the way!”
They only ever seem to know this line.
“Yah,” Sunggyu snaps. “Stay in your seat!”
They’re shaking their hands to the rhythm and being incredibly childish again though they’re all adults now.
