You were still in the hospital, waiting for news on Jinyoung. Everyone had gone back one by one except for Mark, who was drifting off to sleep. You looked at him with your swollen, tired eyes and smiled.

"Mark ah..." you croaked since you cried almost throughout the whole day.

He snapped his eyes open and looked at you.

"You should go home..." you said.

He bit his lip and shook his head.

"Aren't you tired?" you asked.

"... I'm scared that they'll take you away while I'm gone..." Mark confessed.

"Besides, I want to be here with you. I don't think I could sleep anyway if I was in the dorm," he continued saying.

Just then, the doors of the surgery room opened and the doctor came out. The two of you stood up as he approached the two of you.

"Its both good news and bad news... He is still alive... but he's in a deep coma," the doctor said.

You felt tears sting your eyes again and Mark quickly slung his arm around your shoulders to comfort you.

"Do you have any other guardians?" the doctor asked.

You shook your head reluctantly and the doctor sighed.

"Wait but doctor, he is still alive! Social services can't take her away!" Mark argued.

"He is alive... But he isn't fit at the moment to be her guardian..." the doctor said.

"Then, I'll be her guardian!" Mark said.

You looked up at Mark as tears continued flowing.

"Mark..." you sighed.

"I'm afraid you can't be her guardian... You two aren't blood relatives and you're not eligible..." the doctor said sadly.

"But Doctor!" Mark shouted.

"I'm sorry... but there isn't anything I can do... We just have to hope that Park Jinyoung comes to soon," the doctor said and with that he left.

"Don't worry, Jisung..." Mark said.

"No, its over... I'm going to be an orphan again, Mark..." you said, already giving up.

Mark roughly placed his hands on his shoulders and turned you to face him. You looked into his eyes that practically screamed desperation.

"Listen to me... I'm making a vow to you now. I vow that no matter how far people take you, I'll find you, until the day I die, I'll find you," he said before pulling you into a hug.

You wrapped your arms around his waist a gripped onto his shirt tightly, not wanting to let anyone seperate the two of you.

"Mark... There's something you should know..." you said, saying every word like it was your last few words to him.

He let go of you to face you.

"Hm?" he asked.

"... I..." you said halfway when Mark's phone started ringing.

"Hold on for a second..." he said.

He picked up the call and it looked like Mark started to close his eyes, frustrated.

"Okay... Okay... I'm come back to the dorm now..." he said before hanging up.

"Yah... See, the manager is mad now. Go back..." you sighed.

"You'll be okay, right?" Mark asked, forgetting all about what you were going to say.

"Yeah... Just go!" you said stubbornly and he rushed off before getting into more trouble.

A few minutes later, Jinyoung was moved into a proper ward where you were allowed to go into. His condition made you tear up again. He had scratches and bruises all over him and it frightened you how he didn't seem to be moving. The man who loved moving and dancing more than anything else in the world was just lying peacefully in front of you. You grabbed a seat beside him and stared at him.

"I... must have been a demon in my previous life, Appa..." you sighed.

"Because in this life, it seems like everyone around me is suffering. If I wasn't a demon... why does God hate me so much? I know I shouldn't question God but sometimes, I can't help it..." you said suddenly bursting into tears.

"My parents died... None of my actual relatives wanted me so I had to live in an orphanage... My stepmother left and now you're in a coma. The best thing that ever happened to me is GOT7... and even them... Why did I have to fall in love for one of them? Why?" you sobbed.

Little did you know... Mark was actually standing outside the door of the ward and he heard every word you said.

THE NEXT DAY...

The door of the ward opened and you woke up straight away. Taecyeon from 2pm came in with a bowl of ramyun and a water bottle for you. He handed them over to you with a reassuring smile and you just smiled politely at him, drained from all the crying yesterday. He sat down beside you and sighed.

"They put me in charge... Well, 2pm basically, since we're one of the oldests people (as in they have been in the company for many years) in the entertainment company and JYP had said before that he would trust us with it of anything happened," Taecyeon said.

"I'm sure you guys will run it fine..." you said.

"Jisung ah, you like Mark, don't you?" he asked suddenly.

You snapped your head towards his direction.

"How did you know?!" you asked.

"I was in the office late at night and Mark had come in. He looked a bit distant so I asked him what was up and he told me what he heard from you. I guessed right, huh?" Taecyeon asked and you sighed and nodded.

"He was telling me all the things you said to him about your ideal type. I could sense that he kind of already knew... I think. It was like he kind of knew it was him... but he just couldn't believe it..." he said carefully, trying to tell the truth without hurting your feelings a lot.

But it did. I mean, you knew Mark was going to be like that, in self-denial. It was expected... but it was still disappointing.

"But... What about Social Services?" he asked.

You shook your head.

"They're probably coming soon..." you said.

"Can I do anything? Can WE (the other JYPE idols) do anything?" he asked, trying his best.

You shook your head again.

"I'm afraid... I'm going to be an orphan again..." you said, feeling a tear escape your left eye.
