The next day EXO went to the outside basketball courts behind the school’s hall to practice basketball. In a few weeks’ time, they will have to compete against schools to earn their trophy as champions for the national interschool basketball games. They split up into their usual 2 teams of six to challenge each other’s strengths. Kris and Luhan were the team captains of each team.

‘Where’s that punk Luhan anyway?’ Kris wondered

 “Yah! What’s up with the sudden tantrums yesterday?” Xiumin asked irritably and passed the ball to Kris harshly “I know you’ve always been straight forward about your opinions but I never expected you to actually challenge Luhan like that. I mean… how childish can you be?”

“Yeah, I’ve never seen you guys fight. What’s the matter with you two?” Lay spoke out of no where

Trying to score a shot, Kris failed miserably when Lay slapped the ball away from the ring while Chanyeol who was in his team caught it.

“Wow! Is that much of a big deal to you guys? It must be, since quiet Lay finally spoke something since yesterday” Kris managed to glare at everyone while trying to steal the ball from Chanyeol ‘We shouldn’t lose! I’m the team’s MVP!’ he thought again and again

“Yah! shikkeureoweo!” the leader SuHo finally shouted while still eyeing on the ball to score a point for their team who is tremendously losing against Luhan’s team  “Stop it already and focus on our training, we have a team to beat on the finals. There’s no time to waste”

“Yeah what he said!” Baekhyun yelled as well earning a scoff from his team mates

“Annyeonghaseyo Yeoreobun! I’m sorry I’m late” Luhan appeared from behind, already changed into his training clothes

“Jump straight in! Haha finally the team’s complete. You’re dead now!” Sehun stuck a tongue out to the other team

“Yah jugeulle?!?” they said making Sehun hide behind Luhan

“A-Aniyo!” he crossed his hands making a scared expression

“Let’s do this” Luhan who had the ball in his hands dribbled his way to their goal and immediately scored. Everyone dropped their jaws in surprise

“Since when?!?”

Luhan laughed at their expressions. ‘Wow, living life the second time around sure does give you benefits’ he thought while laughing at his good memory. He had memorized their moves beforehand. Now about their opponent? He doesn’t give a damn, he knows their techniques. Yeah, he knows every single bit of it. And no, they’re not going to lose this time like the past, as he said it, he wanted to make this lifetime different. But on the other hand, he’s confused, he still doesn’t quite get it. Even if he changed the scenario, there are still some parts that are similar. His death which he feared the most could still come. It may or may not, at least he won’t be able to hurt her any longer. At least Hyun Ae would’ve found her other half by then.

“Wah! Daebak!” the girls squealed at the top of their lungs. Luhan’s perfect dunk melted their hearts away

“Oppa jalhaesseo!” the girls chanted again when Kai stole the ball away from Lay. He noticed the screaming girls and gave them a wink

“You must be happy” D.O gave him a stern look “Look how many fans you have”

“Wae? Jealous?” Kai snorted while D.O jokingly attempted to punch him in the face

As the game intensified, more girls came to see their heating match

“Go Kyungsoo oppa!”

“Kai! Fighting!”

“Luhan! Go go go!”

The girls kept chanting each member’s name. After a while the group took a break while the fans were still there to catch a glimpse of their oppa’s

“Wah, there’s too many people here” Hwa Young said in frustration “They stole our spot!”

The girl’s heard this and gave Hwa Young and Hyun Ae their evil glares

“Excuse me?” Krystal Jung, the most popular Junior and the so called ‘Ice Princess’ of the school which was thought to be Kris’s perfect match because he was the ‘Ice Prince’ looked at them from head to toe “How dare you treat us like that when you two are a bunch of nugu’s in this school?”

Seohyun, Krystal’s friend which is just as popular as her pushed Hyun Ae back “Get the hell away from here, we don’t need poor nobody’s around our oppas”

“Yah! Just because were not as rich as you people doesn’t mean were not allowed to have the space that we deserve here in this school” Hwa Young eyed Seohyun “And don’t you dare touch my friend or I will definitely kill you”

Seohyun gulped and stepped back a little bit. She didn’t show her scared expression to save her vanity “Whatever, why are we even talking to you? You don’t deserve our time”

“Yeah, you girls better stay away from us or--“

“Or what?” came a voice from behind the Krystal and Seohyun

“K-Kris o-oppa!” Krystal blinked her eyes in shock

“Omo! Kris oppa” Seohyun had the same expression

“You did really well on that three point shot” Krystal smiled at her all-time crush “You guys will definitely win!”

“Yes! Of course they will! They’re jjang!”

“You still didn’t answer my question” Kris made eye contact with the two girls

“Which one oppa?”

“About those two girls” Kris pointed at Hwa Young and Hyun Ae

“Oh nothing! Nothing oppa! Were just trying to be friends with them right?” Krystal made a face at Hyun Ae and Hwa Young telling them to agree

“Oh Annyeong Hwa Young and Hyun Ae” Kris went to the two and put his arms around their shoulders “You see, I know them. You said nugus? I don’t know your names, doesn’t that mean that you two are the nugu’s here? For a popular guy like me, these two are somebodies in this school. They are my friends. And you two, we have no relationship at all. So please don’t call me oppa, it really hurts my ears. Please stick with Kris-sshi ne?” Kris raised his eyebrows while Hwa Young and Hyun Ae chuckled at Krystal and Seohyun’s expressions

“A-arrasso op- Kris-sshi” they said and walked away along with the other girls to avoid any more embarrassment. They were walking really fast that they both tripped on their own feet earning a big laugh from the three

“Kris oppa, you’re the best” Hwa Young said

“What are friends for?” Kris gave her a bro fist and then looked at Hyun Ae after wards “Gwaenchanayo? Are you hurt anywhere?”

“Gwaenchana” Hyun Ae gave him a smile

“Dahaeng ida” Kris sighed in relief “You know what? I feel bad because of us, those girls bothered you, let me buy you something in the cafeteria”

“Ani! You don’t have to Kris oppa” Hwa Young tried to decline

“No! I insist” Kris shook his head “Please, let me make it up to you. Just for today”

Kris looked at Hyun Ae for permission

“Arrasso” Hyun Ae said while Kris jumped in glee

“Yey! Kaja!” the three then made their way to the cafeteria

“Well… that was weird” Chen commented “Why didn’t you go to her instead of hyung?

“He’s out of his mind” Tao looked at Luhan with pity “What is wrong with you hyung? I thought you liked her? You’re like head over heels for her but what in the world did I just witness?”

“I don’t like her anymore” Luhan said flatly earning a huge ruckus from the rest of the boys

“Neo micheoseo?” SuHo shook Luhan in the shoulders “You’re just going to give up like that?”

“What’s there to give up?” Luhan sipped water from his water bottle and wiped his sweat “Besides, it’s not a big deal anymore” He then walked out from the basketball court “I’ll see you guys in class”

As he was walking a strange gust of wind followed from behind

“What the?” he gave a questioning look and continued to walk, trying to decipher what just happened

“Not a big deal aye?” A person popped out in front of him. Luhan widened his eyes as he fell to the ground. The person disappeared making him blink, he was about to scream when a hand covered his mouth.

“I don’t think shouting is the best thing to do right now”
