Jinyeon’s POV

Taeyang oppa dragged me to the center of the club. He asked for a mic and talked to the DJ for a while.

“Everyone, did you like what you saw when this girl performed?” He asked as soon as he got back beside me.

“Ne!” The crowd answered.

“Well, I’m going to perform now but I wish to perform with her.”

“Okay.” Everybody said.

He came close to me and whispered.

“I know you know this dance. Perform with me okay?”

I looked at him with confusion. He cued the DJ for music and it made me smile.

-Flashback-

*RING RING*

“Yeoboseyo?”

“Jinyeon-ah, can you do oppa a favor?”

“Oh! Taeyang oppa! Why? What’s up?”

“Well, see… the dancer I was supposed to practice with got injured.”

“Soo??”

“Well I know you’re pretty good at dancing; you told me before; and I was thinking if you could replace her?”

“Aniya, oppa… I at dancing.”

“Well, my manager said to contact a person a trust and a person easy to work with so I thought you could do it.”

“Fine. I’ll be there in a jiff.” (said in English)

“Thanks Jinyeon!” (said in English)

-After 30 mins arrived at YG Entertainment—basement practice room-

*Knock Knock*

“Oppa?”

“Jinyeon-ah!”

I saw Taeyang’s face with a big smile. He proceeded into hugging me and I hugged him back.

“Eww… oppa, you’re all sweaty.”

“Haha… I thought you wouldn’t care ^^”

He took off his shirt and got a towel from his bag. He wrapped it around his shoulder. I couldn’t help but stare at his beautiful and hot chocolate abs.

“Liking what you see?”

“Oppa, so full of yourself. Pshh...”

We started to practice and apparently Taeyang and I had a lot of chemistry together. They said that I can be their back-up plan if his partner is still injured by the time he has to perform on stage. I didn’t like the idea but hey it won’t hurt right?

For days, we bonded and practiced together. One day, we mastered everything and did a little performance. During practices, usually we fake the kiss on the cheek but today we were going to present to a few people and see if the dance appeals to the fans so we HAD TO do it.

It came to that part and I was really nervous. Second thoughts kept running through my head. Should I do it or not? In the end, I still did.

-End of Flashback-

Now, it’s just like déjà vu. I was having second thoughts. I kept thinking should I do the kiss or not? In the end, I decided not to.

He intertwined his fingers to mine and looked at me straight in the eye,

The song ended and he held my hands. It was really awkward. I decided to let go but he didn’t.

“I have an announcement everyone…”

“What is it? Tell me first.” I whispered to him.

He shrugged.

“This girl right here… (looks at Jinyeon) Jinyeon-ah… please be my…”

Don’t say my girlfriend because it will be really awkward!

*BANG!*
*GLASS BREAKING*

Everybody turned to the direction of the sounds. What is happening back there?!

“YAH! Calm down!” Someone shouted from our table.

It sounded like Heechul. What is happening??! I rushed over to see a two scared girls and 8 shocked guys. I tried to figure out who were missing and it was THEM.

Taeyang’s POV

I didn’t get to finish what I wanted to say. DARN IT!

She could’ve been my girlfriend right now, right at this moment. But NO! Some stupid guys fought and it so-happened-to-be her friends. ARGG!
