A Mermaid's Tale
Narrator's pov:
Woohyun blinked a few times as he thought back to what Neela told him. Forget his feelings. Get rid of them. That's actually what should happen and he wasn't stupid. From what Neela told him, he knew that it had no meaning to even develop feelings for Marna as she had to return to the sea again. She couldn't stay on the land and she couldn't stay as human.
He liked her, a lot and having to suddenly forget about these feelings, it wasn't the most easy job to do.
But he was willing to try, just to not ruin the friendship he had developed with the young mermaid. And also to help her and not make thigns uncomfortable for her.
Marna looked outside, seeing the waves of the sea moving.
She kept thinking about what Sori told her. That she likes, no, that she loves him and that she saw her as competition.
Her heart felt uneasy with this, squeezing together, but she didn't know what it was and she couldn't find it out either as she had completely no idea at all.
And maybe, just maybe this is a good thing. Like this, she won't find out what love is and like this she can return to the sea without getting hurt.
Neela and Key were in the living room, both holding a cup with green tea, the hot steam visible in the air around it.
"I told Woohyun... I hope he'll fulfill my favor."
Key sighed and looked outside the big glass window, smiling softly as he saw the waves moving lazily.
"I don't want to see someone getting hurt again." Key muttered, but Neela heard this and she hummed in question.
"Jonghyun, he... that guy had a hard time after you suddenly disappeared out of his life." Key said and Neela looked down with sad eyes.
