Narrator's pov:

Marna greeted Key a good morning.

Woohyun decided Marna should sleep in the guest room for the time she had on the surface.

Key didn't mind, but he wasn't that overjoyed by it either.

"Good morning." Key nodded his head and walked to the kitchen, making some green tea.

"Marna?" he asked.

"Yes...?" Marna asked unsure. She wasn't afraid of him and for sure he wasn't afraid of her, that she could see. But somehow Marna had a hard time reading Key. It was like he had put a wall infront of him and wasn't letting Marna see anything. Even though he was friendly and polite, she felt like he was judging her.

"Do you want some green tea?" he asked and showed the mermaid a cup filled with Japanese green tea.

"Sure." Marna nodded her head, giving Key a bright smile, but that wavered a bit as Key just turned away and sighed softly.

She couldn't help but wonder what was wrong. Woohyun told her it was old age, but her instincts told her it wasn't.

"Morning, grandpa! Morning Marna!" Woohyun grinned cheerfully as he came down the stairs.

"Scoop the rice into bowls and place the stew on table." Key said to Woohyun, who nodded and quickly did as his grandfather asked.

"Marna can help us today." Woohyun started. "I'm sure she will do fine in the shop." 

"Fine...?" Key asked a bit alarmed. He wasn't against any extra help, no he even needed it in this time of the year, but he wasn't so keen on the idea that a mermaid was going too help in a shop. Especially since he knew that mermaids don't know everything of humans or how things work here on the land.

"Yeah, no wrries. We can use the extra help." Woohyun said, always so cheerful and bright.

So bright sometimes that it made Key worry.

Marna smiled brightly as she greeted the customers.

A lot of people came when Woohyun started help in the shop of Key. After all, his good looks helped with the increase of customers. Those were mostly girls, trying to flirt with him and get his phone number, but now it was all because of Marna.

Adding to those girls, where boys who tried to gain attention of Marna.
