The Start of a Magical Summer Vacation
A Mermaid's Tale
Narrator's pov:
"Cora, where are you going?" the mermaid with the darkblue tail asked her friend.
The other mermaid, one with long straight hair, filled with orange streaks and an orange tail turned her head to Marna.
"There is a gathering where they will tell stories. Come with me." she smiled, making Marna beam while nodding. She moved her darkblue tail, her body moving swiftly in the ocean's water.
"I love the stories they tell. I wonder what kind of stories they'll tell this time." Marna said excited, clasping her hands together while her long wavy hair with darkblue streaks flowed in the water.
Cora shrugged, but wasn't letting it decrease her excitement.
"Maybe about the voyage the fishes made. Or maybe about the birds who tell stories about the surface?" Cora said excited.
"The humans?!" Marna asked even more excited as her lips were pulled in a big bright smile.
"Perhaps." Cora grinned as both mermaids swam to the depth of the deep blue ocean.

When Marna and Cora arrived at the gathering, a lot of merpeople were already there, most of them were young ones, those who were around the age of Cora and Marna.
They sat down on the stones, quietly so they wouldn't interrupt the storytelling.
"They have things made of stones, called hospitals. Doctors are people who help other people when they're in pain. They ask you things and you answer while they try to heal you."
"But merpeople don't get sick!" one mermaid asked, giving the older mermaid a cnofused expression.
The older, not old, but mature mermaid chuckled softly and nodded her head.
"We indeed don't get sick, but people, humans from the sruface do." she answered before she looked up as a whale swam passed them.
"The food they eat is delicious and different from here, though they also eat fishes..."
"Do they eat mermaids too?!"
"No, of course they don't..."
"But they say that humans are dangerous species. They are beings we should be careful off because they kill us..." another merman said, his expression filled with fear.
