Kai's POV

"Aish.." I muttered as the nurse applied more toxin remover onto my cuts. Across from me Taehyung-sshi was also getting his fists treated. His deathly glare never left my sight. 

"Ah, yes thank you for your consideration." I turned to see Suho hyung bowing to the hospital management. He turned to both me and Taehyung and sighed. "You two, you almost cost your visiting privileges," he began, "You both are lucky enough for the management to allow you to continue to visit Seol". 

"I'm sorry hyung." I looked over at Taehyung and slowly limped my way to wards him. He flinched a little before moving away from me as I sat down. "Get away from he." He said. I sighed, but continued to go with my plan. " Taehyung-sshi, I'm sorry that you're just hearing about this now, I really am. But please know that  everything I have done, is my own fault, and I really, REALLY did not mean to hurt your cousin. Seol... she is one of those type of people I had to live without. I've had no one in my life to comfort me, to care for me as much as she did." I turned to him. "I really didn't mean to hurt her." Then, Taehyung turned to me, his gaze still deadly.

"Hyung."

"...Yeah?" 

"Get lost."

Before Suho or myself could say another word, the infirmary door opened. Mrs. Adams. 

I hastily stood up and bowed the full 90 degrees. "Ah, hello mother." She looked at me and slowly sighed. "Ah, yes... hello Jongin-ah." She then turned to Taehyung and surprisingly told him to leave her alone with. Suho hyung as well. 

Hyung looked at me before exiting the room with Taehyung and I sighed. "Mother?" Mrs. Adams motioned me to sit next ot her and I obeyed.

"Mother, I am really, really sorry for everything. I just didn't know when to tell you. But when I saw that Seol's family was here, I decided to tell all of you today, instead of hiding it any longer. I am sorry mother... I should've told all of you before. I am really---"

"I forgive you." I looked up from the floor and directly into her eyes. "What?" She slowly smiled. "Jongin-ah, although I have only known you for a short while, I have seen your affection towards Seol, and I trust that you wouldn't hurt her on purpose." She then took my bruised hand into her own. "With you, and all your other friends, my daughter was so happy, so bright... and I trust you to care for her."

I smiled. "Thank you mother, thank you so much!" Tears of joy then came streaming down as I did my best to hold them in. I really didn't want to cry in front of Mrs. Adams, but; but I was so grateful for her consideration... I was happy.

Tao's POV

"We're here to see Adams Baek Seol." "Ah, yes. Go right on ahead." We bowed at the nurse as she gave us our visitor's passes. Although my mood has been down for over a week, hearing Seol's voice was heaven. I missed her so much. 

"Hello?"

"*coughs. "Hello? Tao-ah, is that you?" I couldn't believe it. It was Seol. She was awake.

"Seol-ah, is that you?!" She giggled and for the first time this week, I smiled again. 

"Yeah, it's me. I'm awake now." 

"Uh, I could tell."

"Yah," I could hear her pouty voice expression on the over line and I smiled. "Huang Zitao. Is that how you're going to say hello to me, after I just woken up? I could just let go of this phone and---"

"I missed you."

A few moments of silence were held on the other side. "Hello?" 

"...Yah, that's... that's not what I meant.... but..."

"But?"

"..."

"Seol-ah?"

"Tao-ah."

"Yeah?"

"... I missed you too. Now hurry up and come~"

I laughed. "Yeah. I'll see you there. Annyeong.... 자기야 (ja-gi-yah-saying honey or darling)

"Ahhhhh~Tao-ah! Just...come, okay?"

"Yeah. See you later."

"Annyeong~" 

We hung up at the same time and I immediately fell to the floor and rolled. Ahhhhh! So many goosebumps, but I've been waiting a while now to be able to say that, and what better way to say it than when she just opened her eyes. 

I then got up and dusted myself off; checking the mirror to put my poker face back on. I opened to door to find everyone looking at me. I gave the phone back to Chanyeol hyung and put on my coat. As I put on my scarf, I secretly smiled and left with the rest of them.

Because there was so many of us, we decided to go as two teams. The first team was myself, Bora and Hyoyeon noona, Luhan hyung, Lay hyung, Chanyeol hyung and Kris gege. The second team was Chen hyung, Baekhyun hyung, Xiumin hyung, Sehun and Kyungsoo. 

At a distance, we saw Suho hyung with Seol's younger cousin, followed by Mrs. Adams and... Kai. I ignored him as the nurse told us that we were able to go inside now. I let the noona's go first, followed by Mrs. Adams, myself and the others right after. There she was. Seol turned from J-hope hyung to us. To be honest, I thought she was directly looking at me and smiled. 

"Bora, unnie, oppas, annyeong!" J-hope helped Seol sit up as we took turns taking her to our embrace. I looked over at J-hope as I slightly bowed, as he did the same. I still didn't like that guy. 

The others put their gifts down after hugging. Finally, it was my own turn. I smiled brightly as Seol smiled at me. "Tao-ah!" I immediately opened my arms and she obediently came to my embrace. 

"Annyeong jagi-yah~" I felt her body tense up as I said that a little too loud. She looked up at me. "Yah..." I sheepishly smiled. "Ah, sorry." By this time, everyone was looking at us with confused expressions. 

"Seol-ah?" I looked at Mrs. Adams, who was slowly coming closer. I tightened my grip on Seol as I looked at Mrs. Adams.

I cleared my throat as I slowly stood up.

"Mother... your daughter and I are... dating."

Hoseok's POV

"Seol-ah, is this true?" I turned over to find mother completely surprised by Tao-sshi's sudden statement. To be honest, we were all quite shocked... but not as much as I was.

"Seol-ah?" I blinked again to find Seol releasing from Tao-sshi's hug and sighed. I was pretty sure she glared at him before speaking. 

"Yes. Umma, it's true..." Seol then turned to me with a sympathetic gaze. I gave a small smile back, but I knew deep down that it wasn't sincere. 

"Omo, Seol's got herself a gentleman now, unnie, would you look at that; she's finally growing up." Seol's aunt hopped in delight as she hugged mother. 

"Mother, I was supposed to tell you," she turned to me, "all of you, but.... aish, Tao-ah!" Seol slumped down in Tao's arms as he smiled sheepishly. "Okay, arasso, I'm sorry." 

I felt like I was going to puke as he hugged Seol. Though it hurt to see Seol hug him back. 

In the midst of everyone being "happy", Tao-sshi suddenly stood up to face mother.

"Mother," he started off, "please give me your blessings for me to date your daughter." 

Seol's(Your) POV

"Mother, please give your blessings for me to date your daughter." I almost spat out my water as Tao confronted umma so boldy--- though it was his boldness that made me say yes~

"Tao-ah..." He smiled at me. "It's okay. I want mother's OK towards our relationship." 

I couldn't help but smile when he said relationship, but quickly changed my expression and looked back at umma. I nearly jumped out of my bed once I saw umma smile as she took Tao's hand. 

"Relationship accepted."

Tao rose up in complete delight as he hugged umma, almost lifting her off the ground from excitement. He then turned to me and I couldn't help but giggle at his child-like joy. He sat back down in my bed as he lightly kissed me on my cheek.

My face turned to a bright pink as I tried to hide it, but it was no use. Everyone had seen it. Though I was happy as Tao was, I couldn't help but let my mind wander off of the only person, hiding his emotions...
