Hi guys! Sorry I haven't updated the supposed Weigt Loss Chapter, but I thought it might be a good idea to talk about how much weight idols have within the Korean public (lol no pun intended). Now, this isn't about Korean fans of specific groups because I'm pretty sure you could find those easily, but rather the Korean public as whole.

So generally, idols are at the bottom of the entertainment food chain, or close at it. Unless, you are a well-known group such as Big Bang or SNSD, most groups are usually teased at or scruntizied meticulously at their mistakes. To K-netizens, actors and actresses always trump idols, no matter what, in everything.

I remember I was reading an article that stated that the reason why Lee Yeonhee (if you guys don't know her, she's an actress under SM) didn't join SNSD was because Lee Soo Man knew that Lee Yeonhee was too good and too beautiful to be put under an idol group even though the general consensus is that she could use some work on her acting.

So, generally, comments on Korean sites always say that actresses/actors trump idols and usually articles that comment something simmilar to "Actress A and Idol B wears the same outfit!" usually just ends to the bashing of that idol, which I find disheartening since the idol didn't do anything wrong.

But, maybe its something universal, since you wouldn't really compare stars like Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber to Angelina Jolie or Natalie Portman in America. I'm not sure though, but that does seem like the general consensus among K-netizens.

Anyways, just wanted to give a brief chapter.
