Heechul’s POV

It was nearly dinnertime. We were still waiting for Hankyung to come back. Most of us had rushed through our schedules for the day, so we wouldn’t miss the minute he would walk in to say he’s staying with us forever. But when we returned to the dorm… he wasn’t there.

“Will he even come back?” Ryeowook asked disappointedly.

“Maybe we set our hopes too high… at least we got to see him after years…” Sungmin added sadly.

“YAH!!” I shouted furiously.

How could they have these kinds of thoughts? Of course he will come back! I know he will!

“HOW CAN YOU THINK THAT WAY? HANKYUNG WILL COME BACK!” I paused to take a breath and added calmly this time, “I know he will… he misses and loves us as much as we love and miss him…”

Damn! Why did I suddenly feel like crying? I need to get out of here…

I ran out of the dorm leaving a very shocked Sungmin and Ryeowook, and found a bench nearby to sit and cry on.

I needed to be calm and happy when Hankyung came… I can’t let him see me like this…

“Hey, are you alright?” someone suddenly asked me.

That voice…

“Yes, I’m sorry… I don’t feel very well…” I replied with my head down to cover my tears.

“Would you like some water? Maybe you’re hungry?” he asked.

I don’t know why, but his voice seemed very familiar… I was too scared to look up though. First, because I am Kim Heechul. I don’t cry. Second… what if its him? I know his voice… I would recognize it anywhere in this world. Maybe he doesn’t know he’s talking to me?

“Sir?” he asked again.

“No but thank you,” I finally answered, looking up.

It was him. It was Hankyung. He looked very surprised to see me here. But he soon recollected himself and tried to say something. I waited patiently for his words to come out… but he seemed to be too shocked to say anything… or was it because he was nervous?

“Yah, china! Say something already!” I said standing up.

“Heechul… I didn’t think you would…”

“Yeah, well I’ve changed a lot since you left me…”

He looked taken aback, “I didn’t mean to…” he looked sad.

I suddenly felt bad for him… why did my evil tongue feel the need to have brought that up?

“I’m sorry…” I said, not only surprising him but also myself.

Did Kim Heechul just say sorry? Yeah well… I do have a heart. I’m not cold blooded… I hate it when people think that.

“No, Heechul… I’m sorry. I should’ve just talked to you guys… I’m really sorry.”

A few seconds later, Hankyung was in my arms crying his eyes out.

“Come on! This is a new shirt! Don’t wet it with your tears…” I smiled, as I felt him smile back on my shoulder.

He finally came up after what seemed like 10 minutes, then suggested, “Let’s go inside and see the others.”

Hankyung’s POV

We were finally back together! I am back to Hankyung now. I am back in Super Junior. I am in South Korea… in SMTown.

Me and the rest of Super Junior were back stage. It was my first concert back. I smiled as I thought about the fanfic I read. ELF’s dream came true… at last.

I looked around and saw everyone preparing for our entrance of the concert. Right now, the ELFs had no idea I was back. They were watching a video on a screen while I spied on the them. All I could see was blue. Blue everywhere. Blue balloons, wigs, lightsticks, costumes, tops, shoes, onesies, posters, banners, etc.

“Guys! Get ready, go to your positions now!”

I quickly wished everyone good luck and made my way to my position. I was at the end, next to Kyuhyun.

I looked at him and smiled.

“Hyung! Have fun!” he shouted at me laughing.

“I will!” I laughed back.

It was nearly time. I couldn’t believe I would be standing on stage with my brothers again. I would be seeing my ELFs again. I needed to make this concert one of the best and most special ones ever! It would mark the return of Hankyung!

“JUMP!” I heard through the speakers.

I jumped up as high as I could and looked around me. The ELFs had gone crazy. I probably had too.

As soon as the first song started, I danced with all my might and gave so much fan service… I thought I might as well go down and stand next to them.

I saw all the other members laughing at my fan service, I didn’t care. I pulled my tongue out at a laughing Siwon and Donghae before continuing to send flying kisses to some ELFs.

It was the best night ever. Next to the night I saw them again with Sian. I couldn’t believe I was here… doing this. Just a few months ago, I’d be crying about this. Now I was just happy. Who would have believed that I’d be back again? Well… the ELFs obviously.

It was always the ELFs. It is ELF. I will always be ELF.
