Ryeowook’s POV

Soon, every single member was on the floor in tears. Even Heechul. We didn’t know what to do anymore… except cry. I started feeling pathetic in front of the fans like this. They still didn’t know what was going on. I needed them to see. So I quickly got up and calmed myself before calming the others and telling them my plan of action… everyone agreed and started.

We didn’t want to continue without Eunhyuk. But we had to.

“I know you are all upset, but you need to carry the show on. You can’t just stop it because of one person. You are all professionals!” our manager shouted to get us back in the joyful spirit.

But it didn’t work… I quickly glanced at each member reminding them of the plan. Then everyone pretended to be happy. It was so hard, acting happy…

Heechul’s POV

People think they know but they don’t. Just because they have seen endless variety/reality shows, dramas, music videos or even my posts online… they think they know who Kim Heechul is.

Your right. You do know who I am. It’s not like I’m a different person on and off camera. But you only my personality and feelings on the outside. You don’t know what’s happening on the inside. No one does. And this is where everyone makes a mistake…

Ryeowook had a plan. I liked it. Our concert is 4 hours long in total, we have already done 1 hour of it, the next 2 hours… is us being normal… pretending nothing ever happened… acting happy… avoiding the poster to stop ourselves from crying. I was worried about being ‘happy’. Acting. It’s my passion isn’t it? So why can I not do it now? ELF I need your strength.

During these ‘happy’ 2 hours, I ran around the whole stage singing and dancing. I figured the more I used my energy, the less I think about him. It wore me out though by the end of the 2 hours… when we really started following Ryeowook’s plan.

Author’s POV

ELFs were wondering what happened earlier during the Super Show, but they soon forgot about it after hearing their oppa’s sing and dance. After 2 hours of the ELFs enjoying Super Junior’s singing and dancing… the music turned off and the boys came to the main part of the stage, where they would usually stand to say ‘Goodbye’ and ‘Thank you for coming to our concert’. The ELFs started getting curious because they knew there was still an hour left of the Super Show.

“Hey guys, so now we are going to sing a very special song dedicated to someone special and meaningful to us… we will sing ‘Shining star’. We want to sing this song for that person because this is what he is… a ‘Shining star’… ever since the last time we saw him… all the way to now and hopefully in the future too,” Kangin announced in front of the many ELFs in front of him, listening quietly to every word that came out.

“Please sing along with us as loudly as you can to make it even more special for us… and enjoy this song hyung,” Donghae added after Kangin finished.

Every single ELF was nodding their heads, showing that they understood. Even Sian and Hangeng. Soon, the music played and the boys started singing. The ELFs began shortly after and sang as loudly as they could, overtaking Super Junior’s voices. Some of the members stopped singing… to hear their ELFs sing… but no… there was another reason… they were waiting for a signal from Ryeowook and concentrating on their target as well as waiting for the person backstage to control the screens behind them, the way they planned to.

ELFs were still singing. Ryeowook started singing again with them softly and slowing down the beat. When it was nearly the end of the song, Ryeowook’s voice was fading away slowly, which made the ELFs sing softly too.

Ryeowook’s POV

(As planned, Donghae hyung and Heechul hyung were supposed to shout out something we did in the past… and hopefully this would trigger a certain someone’s memory…)

Donghae: I LOVE YOU!!

Heechul: SARANGHAEO!!

…

(We didn’t continue the song… we wouldn’t until that one per-)

WO AI NI!!

(He said it. I couldn’t believe it!)

Everyone smiled at each other. The ELFs were startled. And we sang.

By the end of the song, ELFs had realised (clever kids we are) who he was. I guess he finally decided to pull his hood down. Hyung was standing on his seat, waving at us while wiping his own tears… wait no. That wasn’t his hands. Someone was helping him. Well, whoever you are… thank you very much for helping our Chinese Hankyung hyung.

After that, it felt like we were only performing for Hankyung hyung. Even the ELFs were cheering for his name as well us ours. Whenever Hankyung hyung’s lines came up, the ELFs would sing it to him while facing him. It was the best experience ever.

Thank you to whoever helped lead Hankyung hyung back into our lives. I would never be able to repay something as big as this.

P.S. I thinking of doing a sequel for this fanfic after i finish. So if you want you guys can start messaging me ideas or dramas that you want me to inlcude in the sequel. I already decided on the main plot... but as you all know... every story needs other little bumbs for the characters to go through until there is an actual ending. :)
