Chapter 27

Make You Feel My Love

It was early morning when the man woke up, his arms wrapped around the body of the lady lying next to him. He looked down at her, his fingers carefully grazing her cheek as to not wake her up and silently watched her sleep. As he did, he couldn't help but let a small smile appear across his lips while he let his eyes guide him to observe the visible features of her body. His skin was still hot from last night and he felt comfortable being this way. Nothing could bother him as a sense of peacefulness was taking over his tired mind, washing away the sorrow that was blinding him from truly living.

From her cheek, he trailed his fingers down her arm until they reached her hand, intertwining her fingers with his. The hole that he felt ever since she walked out of his house was no longer present, the space being filled with nothing but a sense of affection that only she could offer him. He could feel that she was slowly starting to wake up as she started to move. She slowly opened her eyes, rubbing them and once she got a clear vision, she saw him looking at her making her slightly jump out of shock. "Sorry for scaring you."

"It-it's okay"

He placed his arm behind her back and pulled her closer so her face was resting on his chest with his chin on the top of her head. She smiled and wrapped her arm around his waist while looking up to place a kiss on his neck. "Good morning." From where she was placed she got on top of him with the side of her head resting on his collarbone. He couldn't help but let another smile across his lips escape, enjoying the way she was making herself comfortable within the embrace of his arms. He placed a kiss on her forehead, taking in the fresh scent that was surrounding her.

"Good morning"

"Did you sleep well?"

"Hmm, you?"

"Like a baby." The smile that was plastered on her face wasn't going anywhere anytime soon as she let herself enjoy her moment with him, for the first time finding herself in his arms out of comfort. He was softly her back liking the way her skin was smoothly touching the tip of his fingers and held on tighter to her body. After a few minutes of silence, she got off and was about to get out of her bed when she suddenly felt a grip on her arm, pulling her back. She turned around to see that Cheondung was the one holding her back, seeing as if something was bothering him. "Are you okay?"

"Where are you going?"

"Oh, hmm, the bathroom, why?"

"Can you stay?"

She didn't give him an answer but she put herself back in bed as his arms quickly wrapped up around her cuddling up against him. "Doongha… what's wrong?"

"N-nothing… I just want you to stay here. I don't want you out of my sight…" His answer caught her off guard. Usually she would wake up in an empty bed with him going back to his usual self as if nothing happened the previous night, but right now, she didn't know how to react to the sudden change of attitude he was portraying. He was hugging her close and he didn't want to let go. She couldn't deny that it felt good, but it made her worry seeing that the concern expression was still apparent in his eyes. "I'm not going anywhere, don't worry."

He looked down as she pulled herself up to kiss him. They let themselves linger for a moment until they pulled away, with Cheondung placing another kiss on her forehead. "I just… don't want you to go."

"Who says that I'm leaving you?"

"Sorry… for everything." She could hear the regret in his voice and it only made her go closer to him, closing in the space that was left between them. A part of her was happy but at the same time, the small voice in her head was warning her to be careful and not to trust him. She was afraid that he might be simply playing another one of his game and tighten her grip around him which he noticed, making him look down. "What's wrong?"

"Just… don't hurt me again… please." Hearing her, he knew where she was coming from. He placed a small kiss on her cheek, showing her the affection he never got to give her and assured her that he wouldn't put her through what he did in the past ever again, that he would try his best to show her that he could let himself feel for her. "I don't know how long its going to take, but I promise you that I'll show you what you mean to me. Last night was new to me and I can't let you slip away like this when I know that there is something inside of me that tells me that I simply need you." She props herself on her elbow, looking at him with a sudden spark in her eyes making her lean closer and placing her lips on his, giving him a passionate kiss.

As she pulls away, a question was starting to bother her and quickly escaped her lips, before having the time to realize it. "Why the sudden… change?" He wasn't surprised by her question knowing that it will take some time before she could let her guard down completely. He looked at her, pushing her hair out of the way and looked directly at her eyes, letting his sincerity shine through his dark orbs. "I just can't live like this anymore… It's to painful and it's becoming harder everyday ignoring something that is clearly screaming out to me. I'm just… scared to lose it all if I really let go…"

"You won't… I'm here Doongha, I'm not going anywhere"

"Thank you"

She nuzzled her face in his neck, breathing in his scent, which comforted her. She closed her eyes, letting him hug her once again, sticking his whole body to her.

Not nearly ready to let go of his comfort.

The morning passed and right now, Seonyul was standing in front of the mansion. After he received a call, Cheondung reluctantly left but only to promise to come back to her place, to which she answered that she will meet him at his place once he's done with whatever he had to do and right now he was waiting for her inside. After ringing on the door bell, the front door opened to reveal one of the butler of the house, warmly welcoming her. Stepping in, she found Mir across the hallway with a huge grin on his lips, happy to see that she was finally back. "Noona!" He ran to her and jumped on her as he wrapped his arms around her body hugging her tight. She chuckled at his behavior and hugged him back, responding to the same affection he was giving her.

"Seonya?"

Pulling away, she found G.O standing behind and walked to him with a smile on her face as she went straight for the hug. He wraps his arms around her, pulling her closer and then pulls back ruffling her hair. "What are you doing here?"

"What? Am I not welcome here anymore?"

"You know its not what I meant."

"I know, I was just messing with you." She pulls her tongue out, amused at him making him playfully pushing her to the side. "But seriously, what brings you here?" She takes a deep breath, knowing that whatever she was about to say wasn't going to please either one of the two boys that were standing in front of her.

"I came to see… Do - Cheondung-ah…"

"What?" G.O looked at her in shock and disbelief while Mir was trying to keep his poker face. "Why do you want to see him?"

"Because we agreed that I would meet him here when he was done with his work."

"Why would you agree? What are you guys up to? Don't tell me that he -"

"Stop it!" Her sudden outburst surprised all three of them and for a small moment an awkward silence fell upon them until she cleared , re-asking her question. "Can you tell me where he is or do I have to look for him myself?"

"Seonya, I'm sorry but I told you -"

"I know what you told  me Byunghee but I don't think you have to worry about him anymore… Can you guys make up? I mean… you haven't spoken to each other for five months"

"How did you know?"

"He told me…" He looked down and then back up at her, disappointment placed in his heart. He thought that he made himself clear to her that he didn't want her anywhere near from him, in the hopes that she wouldn't have to suffer like she did in the past. "Why are you still defending him after what he put you through? You were miserable because of him!"

"I know… but -"

"Don't say that he changed, don't you dare say it"

"He wants too Byunghee…" From disappointed he went to angry. Even with the pleading look in her eyes, he couldn't hide his anger he felt towards her for being so reckless. All that long, Mir was looking down, not saying a word but simply listening to their conversation. Knowing where it was going, he could feel his heart ache, sensing that something has changed between her and Cheondung, washing his hope away from ever having the chance to confess.

"What do you mean he wants too?!"

"Please, Byunghee"

"Seonyul-ah, I don't know what to say… I thought you wanted me to -"

"And I still do! Off course, but not from him anymore. Byunghee-ah… Please, just talk to him. For me." She stepped closer to him, not looking away. She grabbed onto his hand, placing it between hers and close to her chest, hoping that he would give his friend a chance so they could talk it out. G.O lets a deep breath out and looks down at her, bringing his free hand to gently her cheek. He kisses the top of her head and brings his arms around her figure, hugging her close, promising that he will give it a try. "But if it goes wrong… I'll hurt him myself."

"As long as you talk to him and fix it, I don't care what happens next"

Giving the time for G.O and Cheondung to talk, Seonyul & Mir were headed to the park, not far from the mansion catching up on what they've missed in each other's life for the past few months.  As they kept on talking, she noticed something different about him, which made her question whether he was moody or simply tired. "Hey, Cheolyong-ah, are you okay?"

"Hmm?"

"You seem… distant…"

"I'm okay -"

"It's me Mir-ah, tell me." He looks down to see that she has placed her hand on his, lightly squeezing it as she gave him a reassuring smile. He sigh and looks back up at her, trying to figure out what he should tell her. Okay… here it goes

Before he was able to even speak out his first words, he was caught off by G.O and Cheondung who were coming towards them as they called both of them out. Seonyul got up from the bench, followed by Mir and joined them halfway until the four of them stood in front of each other. "So? Everything worked out fine?"

"Sure" She looked at G.O shrugging his shoulder as he gave out his answer. From there, she looked at Cheondung who had his eyes glued on Mir, suspecting that something went on between him & Seonyul. "Doongha?" He looked at Seonyul who was shyly smiling at him, making him respond by walking to her, discretely holding her hand. G.O noticed and though he wasn't comfortable with this at all, he decided to leave as to not ruin their 'moment'. He grabbed onto Mir and dragged him out of their way, leaving Cheondung and Seonyul back on the park bench.

Once they sat next to each other, he placed his arm around her shoulders while she placed her legs over his lap letting them hang loose between the gap of his legs. She rested her head on his shoulder while playing with his free hand on her lap. He was softly gazing at her, comfortable in her world, feeling the sense of serenity rushing through his veins. For now, all that was invading his mind was her and how good he felt simply sitting here with her by his side. She looked up to having her eyes land on his neck and placed a peck on his skin making his gaze divert from their joint hands to her face, a small smile appearing across his lips. He leans closer, his lips landing on hers as they went on, their kiss growing stronger every second. Holding him by his neck, she pulled backwards until her upper body was completely lying on the bench with Cheondung almost hovering above her, never breaking their kiss apart.

They were so caught up in their little moment, the chirping of birds flying out from the trees a few feet away was the noise that brought them back to reality, returning to their initial position.

"Cheondung?"

"Hmm?"

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure"

"What happened… to you?" His eyes were almost wide open, surprised to hear her question. Even though she had to know the truth about his past, he still wasn't ready to open up about it, afraid that if he ever did, he would lose himself completely, once again and this time, for good. She took his hand in hers and tightly squeezing it, telling him that if he didn't want to talk about it was okay. He insisted on telling her simply because he wanted her to know, but telling her the story, he would have to take his time. "I have all the time in the world Doongha, but I'm not forcing you to tell me. If you don't want to, I promise you it's okay"

"No, I want to… It's the least I can do" He took several deep breaths, controlling himself as he tightly squeezed his hand within her grip. He was looking down trying to figure out where to start. Before he was able to open his mouth to speak she cut him off, noticing that it something much more harder for him to do than she ever thought. "Don't."

"Huh?"

"It's okay… I change my mind"

"But I thought -"

"I know, but seeing you now, I don't want to put you through this again. What I saw yesterday freaked me out and if you telling me is going to trigger something like that, I'd rather not know the details." She lets go of him and gets up only to find herself standing in front of him to go back and place her legs on each side of his body, straddling him. She places a small kiss on his lips and rest her head on his shoulder, hugging him tight. "I want you to know the truth…"

"And in time Doongha. I'm in no hurry at all." He was grateful for her patience and her understanding. Even though she had no clue what happened to him, she knew that it was something hard to face and she was willing to let it go all for his sake only. He cupped her cheeks, gently them and looked in her eyes, not able to prevent from smiling at her. She placed another peck on his lips and pulled away only for him to lean back closer to her, taking her bottom lip between hers and fully crashing his lips against hers. She smirked against their kiss, letting him taking the lead as she let herself enjoy the sensation in her stomach that he was giving her. She lets out a soft moan and pulls away, both of them catching their breath. She got out of his lap and stood up, pulling him by the hand so he could be standing in front of her.

"Watch out!"

Hearing the voice from afar, they both turned to where the voice was coming from, seeing that it came from behind Cheondung and saw that G.O was running to them.

"Did you hear what he said?"

Before Cheondung was able to turn to her and answer, a shot was fired.
