Why are you apologizing?  I said let's have a fresh start.  That means forgetting about all that, okay?  I'd really like it if we could do that.

It wasn't awkward until you said it was...I'm not good at this either, so it's not like either of us will notice if we mess up, right?  I don't think there's really a right or wrong way to do it anyway.  I mean, letters are letters.  You're supposed to express yourself in them, not whatever it is someone else expects you to express.

I didn't mean to make you feel guilty!  I'm sorry, I guess I should have thought about what I said before sending it.  I'll be sure to in the future.

Let's start over, okay?  It would make me really happy if we could get along.
