Push and Pull
I Don't Know
As the memories keep on replaying itself.
My cellphone rings and I reluctantly get up to pick it.
"Hello?" I said nonchalantly.
'Taotao!!' Luhan's voice boomed through the line.
I smiled, "Ne?"
'I missed you a lot! Are you back in Korea?!' Luhan asks, voice still loud.
Then I heard commotion through the other line.
It's Kai's voice, 'What the heck! We missed him too! Give me the phone!'
'Oh shut it!' Luhan shouts.
I laugh a little, I missed all this.
'Yes, Tao?' Luhan asks again.
I clear my throat and answer,
"Yes, I landed in Korea last night but I was tired so I went to sleep right away"
'Oh! What about today?' Luhan asks, voice hinting a bit of sadness.
"I'm sorry.. I was busy organizing things for school and finishing up my long forgotten homework. What about you?" I tried to explain.
'Pssht! Who cares about homework~' Luhan said with a shrug.
I feel relief a bit and burst out laughing,
"Hahahahahaha okay, so are you guys back in the dorm then?"
'Ah.. No. Only me, Sehun, Kai, Chen, Lay and Chanyeol is here. The other should be back by tomorrow except for Kris' Luhan said with a sad tone.
My face frowned in disappointment,
"What- why?"
'Well I don't know, I heard he had some complication' Luhan explains.
I am about to say something but Luhan beat me to it as he said,
'But don't worry though, he'll be back by this week for sure~ plus..... He can never leave for long' I can practically see him smirking through the other line.
"Okay..." I shrug.
Luhan chuckles, 'Anyway, lets talk tomorrow. Sehun is complaining that he's sleepy'
"Ahahaha Luhan ge, you should stop spoiling him too much" I said while shaking my head.
'Never. Okay, bye~ Tao baby. Good night!!'
Luhan said happily and I heard Sehun's voice whining, 'What?! Why is he your baby?~'
"Bye, night ge" with that I hang up.
I lie back down on the bed, phone still in my hand.
My thoughts only been wandering around Kris.
'I wonder what happen...'
Then I feel vibrate in my hand and my cellphone's beeping, signing a new text
received.
"Ha.. Must be Luhan ge" I open it without any expectation.
From: Kris~
To: Tao.
Tao-ah, you're asleep?
My eye shot opened seeing the words on the screen.
'Kris!' I sit up, grabbing tightly onto my cellphone.
From: Tao.
To: Kris~
Not yet, ge. Why?
I quickly typed a reply and pressed send.
From: Kris~
To: Tao.
Are you back in Korea? Did I disturb your rest?
From: Tao.
To: Kris~
Yes, and no, you're not. I just talked to Luhan ge on the phone a few minutes ago anyway.
From: Kris~
To: Tao.
Oh.. Good. So.. Like, you've heard?
From: Tao.
To: Kris~
Yea, that you're not coming back? =(
From: Kris~
To: Tao.
I have something to do
From: Tao.
To: Kris~
Does it involve your precious?
I said, jokingly but surprised at the answer.
From: Kris~
To: Tao.
Yes. That too.
I frowned but replied anyway, trying to changed the subject.
From: Tao.
To: Kris~
Oh.. Oh. When are you coming back?
From: Kris~
To: Tao.
Hmm, by this week. I'll go back as soon as possible. Are you not sleepy Tao-ah?
'Tao-ah...' I smiled seeing how he called me.
From: Tao.
To: Kris~
I see. I'm a bit tired but not sleepy, yet. I guess I'm excited to go back to school to see the other ㅇㅅㅇ
From: Kris~
To: Tao.

I chuckle "he wrote a smiley~! That's rare"
As I'm contemplating to write a reply, another text comes in.

I really want to see the other guys and you too, as soon as possible
A blush creep up on my face and I can feel my heart skipped a bit.

Haha yea right, me too...
I replied trying to act like I'm totally cool with it.

Tao-ah.
I choked up a bit before replying.

Nothing. Just feel like writing it.
My face blushed again.
As I am trying to write a reply, my phone beep again.
"Oh..??"
From: Luhannie deer~
To: Tao.
Tao-ah.. Go to sleep, you have school tomorrow. And stop texting 'push and pull' messages with Kris ^_~*
"What the-- urgh" I groaned but I can feel heat starting to creep on my face.

To: Kris~
Kris ge, I need to sleep now. =( sorry.

Let me guess, you also got a text from Luhan? Hehe I understand. What push and pull game anyway?
"Is he stupid..." I said, voice muffled as I'm burying my face on a pillow.

I don't know. Anyway, bye ge..

Good night, Zitao.
I sighed. It's always like that,
whenever our conversation is leading to his precious,
even though I'm the one who started it,
I'll always try to change the subject.
I don't want to know.. Really.
