Chapter 6

The next day, Sunghee woke up early and made breakfast for everyone. Yoohwan came downstairs and smiled at his noona.

'I've fallen for her again just like back in high school.' Yoohwan thought to himself.

"Good morning noona!" Yoohwan greeted Sunghee.

She turned around and smiled happily at him. "Good morning."

"Mommy! Are you and Uncle Yoohwan finally together?" Youngjae asked as he came downstairs for breakfast after getting ready for school.

Minjee lightly punched her brother's arm and said, "What are you? A matchmaker? If they date, who cares. As much as I love Uncle Yoohwan, it's not my problem to in and neither should you."

The two adults laughed at the kids.

"Hurry and eat breakfast." Sunghee said as she places two plates onto the table for the kids first. "You wouldn't want to be late for school."

Yoohwan nodded as he agreed with Sunghee.

"Yes mommy." the two kids said and began to eat their breakfast.

After dropping the two kids off at school, Yoohwan took Sunghee to the mall since he took the day off from work.

"Yah, shouldn't you be at work?" Sunghee scolded him. "Taking days off of work for is just bad."

Yoohwan laughed. "I don't think that. Besides, I just have to come in and try on costumes for the drama."

"Speaking of drama." Sunghee said and looked at Yoohwan. "I heard you speak English in 'Twinkle Twinkle'"

"So?" Yoohwan replied. "You've heard me speak English since high school."

Sunghee couldn't help but chuckle. "You spoke English with an accent in your drama."

"So Koreans could understand!" Yoohwan said trying to defend himself. "You would too."

Sunghee laughed. "You're so lame."

"Am not!" Yoohwan said.

"Are too."

"Am not."

"Are- ah!" Sunghee said and landed in Yoohwan's arms.

"Yah! Watch where you're going!" Yoohwan shouted at the person who bumped into Sunghee making her fall forward. Luckily, he caught her. He looked down at Sunghee and she looked at him shyly. She gently pushed him away and turned around hiding her red face.

"Let's go." she said walking ahead of him.

Yoohwan followed behind her shaking his head. 'Aigoo.' he thought. 'So shy and cute. Just like when we first liked each other.'

-DBSK's Photo Shoot-

Hyemi went to DBSK's studio during her lunch time to join Yunho and his band mates. The boys groaned when he saw her enter the door.

"Oppa! I got food for all of us." Hyemi said holding up a plastic bag.

Changmin's eyes widened. "Food!"

"Yah! Maknae! Why are you such a fatty?" JaeJoong shouted.

"Thanks sweetie." Yunho replied smiling at Hyemi. Now that he and Sunghee have divorced, he felt like a part of him was empty but he pushed the feeling aside and continued his relationship with Hyemi.

"It seems like your group doesn't like me." Hyemi said pouting.

"It's okay." Yunho said trying to reassure Hyemi. "I guess it's because they're fond of Sunghee. They'll like you soon enough."

Hyemi nodded.

"Yah! Park Yoohwan!" Sunghee shouted trying to chase after Yoohwan while trying to keep her balance on the ice. Yoohwan decided to drive her to the skating rink since they were bored after spending two hours at the mall. "Yah Park- Oww!"

Yoohwan rushed by her side and pulled her up. "Are you okay?"

She nodded. Sunghee could feel her heart beat faster and she couldn't help but stare at him adoringly.

"I-I'm fine." she said quietly.

Yoohwan smiled. He held out the necklace that she was chasing him for and said, "If you take this from me, we're going out."

"W-what?" she asked in shock. "Y-yah, don't joke with me."

Yoohwan chuckled. "I know you and hyung just divorced but I really like noona. Ever since the day hyung cheated on you, ever since you always came to me and ranted to me, I was always there for you. I'm glad you trusted enough to tell me your problems. Now, I want to be the one who'll be by your side. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Sunghee looked at him and saw how serious he was. "I-" she began but he cut her off.

"Hear me out." he said. "I ended up liking you again not because I pitied you but because you're still that same shy, innocent Sunghee since high school. I hope you'll consider giving me a chance. I promise I'll treat the kids as if they're my own kids. I'm not asking you to marry me but I'm just asking you to be my girlfriend. Please consider it."

With that, Yoohwan handed her the necklace and skated around the ice rink. Sunghee stared him for awhile and thought back to all the times he had helped her since four years ago. Even her kids liked him. It wouldn't hurt to give it a try. When she dated him back in high school, she really did like him. Now that her and Yunho are over, maybe it would make her happier and even the kids. Sunghee smiled and began to skate towards Yoohwan and gave him a hug from  behind.

"I accept." she said. "I'll be your girlfriend."

Yoohwan smiled.

"Although I can't promise you my whole heart now, I can promise you I'll try to make this relationship work. I'm really thankful I met a guy like you. Someone who has cared for me and my kids when we had trouble. Park Yoohwan, I like you too." she confessed.

Yoohwan turned around and hugged Sunghee back. "Thank you."

The two later on picked up the kids from school hand in hand. When the kids walked out of their classroom, they couldn't help but jump for joy when they saw their mom hold hands with their favorite uncle.

"Mom and Uncle Yoohwan are finally dating!" Youngjae cheered.

The two adults looked at each other then laughed. Youngjae ran up to Yoohwan and took his free hand then dragged Yoohwan and Sunghee out to the school gates. Minjee took Sunghee's free hand and smiled at her mom happily.

"We should celebrate!" Youngjae said. "Please?"

Yoohwan nodded. "What would would you two like?"

"Ice cream!" the two kids chirped.

"Okay!" Yoohwan replied.

-Gelato Shop-

"Just as tasty as ever!" Youngjae said.

Sunghee laughed and picked up a napkin on the table and wiped Youngjae's mouth with it.

"Such a messy eater." she said shaking her head at her son. "Tsk tsk."

"Mom, does that make us a Park now?" Minjee asked Sunghee cutely.

Sunghee laughed. "No. We're just boyfriend and girlfriend."

"Wae? Did you want to be a Park?" Yoohwan asked Minjee.

"I wouldn't mind." she replied grinning at Yoohwan.

Everyone laughed. Unknowingly, two figures were at the shop looking at the four. One was upset at the scene before them while the other just smirked.

-Yoohwan's Place-

Soon, the four came home and the kids headed upstairs to wash up and then came downstairs to do homework and then had dinner. If people saw the four, they would think they're a happy family.

"Uncle Yoohwan, how do you do this?" Youngjae asked Yoohwan pointing to a multiplication problem.

"2x2" Yoohwan said. He went to the kitchen and took a basket full of apples and set it in front of Youngjae. "You have two apples and I give you two more. How much is that?"

"Four." Youngjae replied.

"2x2 is like 2+2." Yoohwan said.

"I get it! How about 2x3?" Youngjae asked.

"You add two more. Basically, 2+2+2 is exactly as 2x3." Yoohwan explained. "You're adding 2 three times."

Youngjae nodded. "I understand now."

Yoohwan smiled. "Glad I could help."

"At least you could help the kids while I'm busy." Sunghee said taking a seat beside Yoohwan. "Thanks."

"Anything for you guys." Yoohwan said smiling at Sunghee.

"Mom! Is dinner finished yet?" Minjee asked. "I'm starving."

"Yes, it is." Sunghee replied smiling at her daughter. "Come on Youngjae, you can finish your homework later."

"Okay." he replied. "Uncle Yoohwan, let's eat!"

Yoohwan laughed. "Alright."

The rest of the night was filled with laughter during dinner and afterwards. When the kids finished their homework, everyone was sitting in front of the TV watching Pororo as the kids, especially Minjee enjoyed seeing the cute penguin going on adventures. When it was bedtime for the kids, Yoohwan and Sunghee tucked the kids together then went to their own bedrooms for the rest of the night.

Third update of the day. I feel so accomplished! LOOL. Hope you guys liked this chapter. & the reason as to why Yunho cheated on Sunghee will be revealed in later chapters. Just, not yet so look forward to it :D
