Every now and then I fall apart when I see you, especially when the person beside you isn't me.

How do you manage to look so happy? How do you manage to smile so brightly? As if nothing happened to you? Was it only me?

Weren't you hurt as well when you walked away from my calls?

Well I was. It totally hurt when I called you from behind and you didn't respond. You kept on walking forward, as if you were leaving me behind, leaving the memories you didn't want behind.

We fell in love, fell out of love, and now I'm falling apart.

Why did you let me experience love? Why did you step into my life? You didn't belong here. Now your love is like my shadow, it could never leave me alone. It haunts me.
