You were sitting in bed hugging your knees to your chest. You were deep in your thoughts. *How do I approach Sungyeol oppa? If he comes to me, what do I say? I have so many things I want to ask but I also just want to hold him.* You heaved a deep sigh.

There was a light knock on your door. You sat up with wide eyes and heart thumping, “C-come in.” The door opened and Sungyeol stepped in. “Hey…can I sit down?”

Sungyeol sat on the edge of your bed.

You scooted backwards.

“Come closer to me.” Sungyeol grabbed your legs and smoothly pulled you towards him. You gasped with widened eyes at how close his face was now. He searched your eyes, “I want to be able to see you closely.”

You swallowed hard. Your heart started to do flip-flops again.

You looked down, blushing in shyness.

“Why are you so distant from me?” He whispered, “I thought you would be happy that I was back.”

“I am!” You blurted.

“Then?” Sungyeol asked, “Why are you acting like this?”

“Because I’m a coward.” You mumbled. He curiously looked at you. You sighed, “I want to get close to you. I have so many things I want to ask you and I want to hold you so that you can never leave me again but…” You lowered your head, “I’ve been tricked by my dreams so many times. What if I let you go and you disappear again? What if this is nothing but a dream? I’ll have my hopes up for nothing.”

Sungyeol softened. He smiled and took your hand. You looked up at him. Sungyeol squeezed your hand tightly, “There. Now you know that I’m real. And even if I let go…” He released your hand, “I’ll still be here right next to you.” *It’s true.* You thought. “Babo.” Sungyeol affecionately whispered, “This isn’t a dream. I’m really here. And I won’t leave you anymore.” He put your fingers to his lips, “I kept my promises to you.”
