Jieun ran back inside her house still exploding with tears. She reached her bedroom and shut the door. She leaned on her door and slowly slides down. She couldn’t believe what she heard.

“I was only a pawn in his game”

She couldn’t handle it and started to burst into tears again. She didn’t want to be near Kris at all she didn’t even want to see him. She hated him for what he done.

It was morning and the first day of school after the long break. Kris was walking to school and he stopped at the park waiting for jieun but she didn’t show up. He waited for 10 more minutes still she didn’t show up. He got a little worried.

“Where are you jieun?”

“Who are you waiting for” asked a voice

Kris turned to see the guys. They were walking to school when they spotted Kris.

“Are you waiting for jieun” asked Lay

“Um, yeah”

“How long have you waited for her” asked xiumin

“About 15” replied Kris

“Maybe we should go I mean she might still be getting ready” suggested Tao

“Yeah, plus we’re going to get late” added Luhan

Kris agreed with the guys and headed to school but he was still worried about jieun. He knew she wouldn’t come late. They arrived at school right before the bell rang. All the students ran to their classes groaning and complaining. They wanted more vacation. Kris arrived at English class and he saw suho there. Suho knew he was there but didn’t look at him. He ignored Kris but Kris didn’t give a damn. He sat at his seat and realized jieun wasn’t here.

“Where is she?”

The teacher came in class and took the attendance. Everyone was here except when got to jieun name.

“Song jieun”

No reply.

“Song jieun…looks like she’s not here today. Well this is a first”

The day continued on with Kris worrying about jieun. Luhan noticed Kris was worried.

“What wrong” luhan asked

“Jieun’s not here” replied Kris

“That’s a first” said Tao

“I’m kind of worried”

“Maybe she might not be feeling well. It’s common so don’t be worried” said lay trying to cheer Kris up.

Kris felt a little better but he was still worried. Meanwhile, jieun was at home. She woke up in the afternoon with pink puffy eyes. She was crying the whole night and today she didn’t want to go to school. She took a shower and headed outside for some fresh air. She thought she needed it plus she thought she needed time away from Kris. The whole day she spent her time in the park until it was getting late but she still stayed there. She sat on the bench and as about to cry again whe she heard someone say her name. She looked and it was Kris. She quickly got up from the bench and walked away but Kris followed her. He grabbed her arm but she let go. He was shocked by her behavior.

“Jieun, what’s wrong” Kris asked

Jieun turned her face away from him and started to get impatient.

“What’s wrong” he asked again

“Did you enjoy using me?”

“What?”

“Did you enjoy using me as a pawn in your little game?”

Kris was shocked when she said that.

“What do you mean…” he said

“Like I didn’t know your plan, you only used me just to get revenge on someone”

Kris was silent.

“Do you think I wouldn’t find out and did you think you would succeed?”

“Look jieun…”

“No, don’t talk to me”

“Jieun wait”

“No, I won’t want anything to do with you”

“Can you just hear me out?”

“Leave me alone”
