You kept groaning because fear had the upper hand. You held tight on your desk and kept thinking that nothing and no one can hurt you then to get your mind off of things, you decided to talk to Kyuhyun to distract yourself.

“C-Can I ask you a question? I’m serious this time.” You uttered out.

“Yeah?” he answered. He was interested.

“What WAS your reputation here? What’s everyone talking about?” you were very straight forward.

“Oh that.” He softly replied. “My dad’s the chairman of the school. Ever since I set foot in this school, I was judged as the “guy who would always do good because my father owns the school” others labeled me as the guy who gets away with everything because my father owns the place.” He continued.

“I always had to think about what I’ll be doing before I actually do it. It was like my every step was being watched. Their eyes were just waiting for me to make a mistake or a very bad decision.”

“Oh. It must’ve been hard for you huh?” you said. You were actually feeling sorry for the guy.

“Hmm. Not since you got here~!” he happily added as he smiled at you.

“W-what are you talking about?!” you snapped.

“Well, it’s just that when you got here, your attitude was unbelievable. You didn’t mind what people were saying about you. You just went on with your business of trying to get out. You inspired me Chaejin. When you started playing those pranks, I couldn’t help but laugh and just join in with your fun!” he confessed.

“Khh~ So that’s why my plans have been back firing!” you realized as you chuckled.

You were still annoyed by the fact that he chose YOU to play pranks with. All those nasty tricks he did and the ones you did started to come back to you and you couldn’t help but snicker.

“OH~!” you yelled as you felt something on your hair. It was the hairpin you had always kept to keep away a portion of your hair from your face. You quickly pulled it off and tried to dabble it into the keyhole. You heard clanking and squeaking sounds as you twisted and turned the pin into the hole then “CLICK”.

“YES~!!!” you cheered as you pull the door open. But as you laid your eyes on what was beyond the door, you just had to back away and fall to the floor.

“What?! Wha’d you see?!” Kyuhyun asked you over and over when you started to stare into the darkness that lay ahead the door. You just froze there on the floor with Kyuhyun’s hand on your shoulder trying to talk some sense into you.

“I-I c-can’t… I-I c-can’t go out there..” you managed to mutter out as you pointed to the pitch black corridor. The courage and confidence you once possessed was quickly vanishing.

You couldn’t believe it. You were now officially having a break down. Your knees were shaking and your lips were quivering. You couldn’t even look Kyuhyun in the eye because he caught you at your weakest point. You wanted to feel angry and annoyed because this happened in front of the person you despised but you just couldn’t. The fear and memory of the past made you grab onto his sleeve. Then just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse…

“Heh, so this is your weakness~. Listen to me Chaejin, I won’t let anything happen to you alright? We’ll be out of the school in no time!” He said to you as he patted your head.

You slowly let go of his sleeve as he stood up and fixed himself. “Come on~!” he encouraged you as he held out his hand.

“Khh, I can’t believe this!!! Why did this happen to me?!!? AAIIISHHH~~ WHY WITH HIM?!?” you kept thinking to yourself as you slowly reached out to his hand. But since your hand’s movement took too long for Kyuhyun, he pulled your hand and firmly held it as you finally stood up.
