Jonghyun's POV  " Kibum, did she already call you back or anything ? " I peeked through the little slit of  Kibum's slightly opened door.  Already two days passed since Kibum sent Nicole the message, but she still didn't reply.  It was a bit weird that she didn't answer to Kibum's message already.  " No. " He simply replied, turning his head to me and sighed heavily.  He was currently laying on his bed and read his favorite book.  I didn't even ask to come in and just did it, closing the door behind me before I walked up to his bed and sat down on the edge of it.  My brother gazed at me and chewed on his bottom lip while putting his book away.    " She's also not answering my calls. " He breathed and sat up, his index finger over my biceps and watched himself doing that.   " Maybe you should call her on the home telephone ? " I asked him.  " Good idea, I'll do it now. " He replied and stood up slowly, walking to the living room.  After I heard him open the door to the living room I was able to hear our mother talk, but no one was replying.   She was probably using the telephone that moment.  " Mom, I need to call someone. " Kibum's slightly muffled voice reached my eardrums.  " Bummie I'm talking at the moment can't you use your cell phone ? " My mother asked back, sounding a bit annoyed of her son.  " But I don't have the number saved in there. " He replied having the same tone as our mother.  " Who do you want to call ? " She asked him.  " Nicole. "   " Oh what a coincidence, I'm talking to her mother right now. " Mom said and began to hum, probably because Nicole's mother was talking on the phone.  " Kibum, Nicole is grounded. Her mother took away her cell phone and she isn't allowed to go out the next days. "  " It's really important. " I heard Kibum say, slight fear was audible in his voice.  " Kibum I already told you she's not allowed. " My mother said rather strictly and kind of mad.    Just a short moment later Kibum came back into his room and raised his eyebrow at me.  " What was that ? " I asked him and furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.  " I don't know, but it seems all so weird to me... " He talked a bit lower than usual and sat down on his desk chair.  " I know...just right after Mom went to Nicole's house, Nicole suddenly got grounded and her parents took her phone away. I kinda have the feeling mom called Mrs Jung and told her what happened. " I muttered slightly, glancing down to my feet.  " Jjong I don't know what our and her parents are planning, but it scares me so ing much. " He said and kneaded his knees nervously.  I stretched my arms out to Kibum who was sitting just a few inches away from me and placed my hands on top of his.  " We just need to get informations from Nicole and we are going to get them soon. " I told him, making him look up in my eyes, because of the thing I said.    " But how ? " He asked back, clearly doubting that we would get informations from her.  " We will just try a few things. Maybe just go to their house and ask to talk to her. She might notice that you try to contact her and will do something then.
