The school would launch prom night party which was held on Saturday and all the boys in the school were busy asking for a girl to come with each of them but Kris was the only person who wasn’t interested about it.

“I’ve already asked Krystal for coming with me.” Luhan said to his best friends after basketball practice

“I haven’t yet. What do you think, guys? Should I ask Amber?” Tao glanced to Kris. He really liked teasing Kris after Tao knew about their status as husband and wife

“Whatever.” Kris responded him lazily as he drank up his water

“Is that Amber?” Luhan pointed to the door then, Tao stood up hurriedly. “Watch me.” He winked to Kris. Tao walked approaching her then, he gave her a big smile and nice wave to greet her

“Hi.” He said then, Amber replied him.

“Well, what about going with me to the prom?” He asked her straightforwardly

“Oh, Tao…  Sorry but I will go with Minho.” She bit her bottom lip then, Tao’s eyes opened widely

“WHAT?! Minho!?” He shouted in disbelieving. Then, he whispered her, “But, what about Kris?”

“Kris? I thought many girls would ask him.”

Tao heaved a sigh seeing her. “Let me tell you something. He was asked by many girls but he rejected them. Do you know why, Amber?”

“Tsk! Because he’s too stupid. Where’s he now?” She asked him then, he motioned her to Kris and Luhan’s place

When Tao and Amber were walking to them, Luhan moved from his position in order that Amber could sit beside Kris.

She asked him, “Will you go to the prom?”

“I don’t have a date. What about you? Minho asked you, right?” Kris asked her cynically

“Yes.”

“If I asked you first, would you go with me?” He made an intense stare to her eyes

“Umm, I…” She hasn’t answered him yet but he cut her immediately. “Just forget it, I’m not interested.” Then, he went from the basketball court leaving them three in confusion

“What? I don’t understand him at all.” She shook her head as she faced the others

“He’s just jelly.” Luhan poked Amber’s shoulder then, she rolled her eyes. She went out from the basketball court too.

“Huh… Marriage is complicated.” Luhan just mumbled

When Saturday was coming, Kris sneaked into Amber’s bedroom. He could hear Amber’s singing voice from the bathroom, he saw her dress on the bed and her new high heels which were she bought yesterday with Krystal.

“So, she really will go with Minho. He will come here or they will meet at the prom?” He thought by himself then, there were many more questions in his mind about her and Minho. He was curious about her relationship with that playboy

He sat on her bed, he didn’t intend to wait until Amber came from her bathroom. He was surprised when she was coming only with towel.

“KRIIISSS!!! What are doing here?!” She shouted from the door

“No, I… I just want to see your dress… and your heels.”

“Get out of here now, I want to put my clothes on.” She walked approaching him

“Why? I’ve put your clothes on before and you’re shy in front of me now? I’ve seen everything.” He said with relax tone

“Aarrggh! This ert! Get out, okay? I’m begging you.”

“Minho will come here to pick you up?” He asked her as he stood up.

“No, we’ll meet at the prom.” She answered him

“I’ve changed my mind, I will go too. So, we’re going together. I’ll wait for you at the downstairs.” Then, he got out of her room

She shook her head, “Why should I marry weird guy?”

After 657576457667856756 seconds, finally Amber went down to the downstairs and met Kris who was waiting for her. He was mesmerized by her beauty, he approached her, his jaw dropped a bit but he realized it very fast and act cool again just like usual.

“Are you ready?” He asked her without looking at her. He avoided her gaze

“Yeah, c’mon.” She answered him. “Let’s go.” He gestured her to walk first to the door then, he helped her to get into his car.

He drove the car and they were caught in the silence. When they were reaching in front of the school gate, Amber got out of the car first in order that everyone didn’t notice that they went together.

Kris just parked his car then, he got into the building. He followed Amber from behind until Minho came and took her away from his view.

“Oh, dude! Finally you’re coming.” Tao tapped Kris’ shoulder. “Hey, this is Luna. Luna, this is Kris.” He introduced them to each other

Kris gave her a sweet smile as they shook their hands. He could feel Luna’s wet hand, she looked nervous only shaking her hand with Kris. “Where’s Luhan?” He asked Tao

“Look, right there.” He pointed to Luhan’s position. He was with Krystal as his date for this Saturday night.

“Amber?” Tao whispered him.

“Argh! Don’t ask me.” Kris said as his eyes looked at Amber who was dancing romantic song with Minho. Then, Tao’s eyes could catch Amber’s beautiful figure, his eyes widened as looked at her.

He tapped Kris’ back. “I’ll go with Luna, is it okay if I leave you alone?” Kris just nodded then, he directed to the table.

He couldn’t think properly but he didn’t know why. He kept eyeing Amber and Minho…

“You look gorgeous tonight.” Minho praised her as they danced

“Thanks.” She smiled

“Look, I have something to tell you but not here.” Minho said and it made Amber confuse. Then, he let go of Amber, he went to the stage. He asked the operator to turn off the music for him

“Everyone, I want to tell something.” Minho said with microphone and it gained everyone’s attention.

“There’s a girl who makes my heart beat really fast in this ballroom. I want to tell her that she’s beautiful tonight and I want to make her mine forever..” Minho said with smile as his eyes looked at Amber intensely

Kris who was listening to his speech just made eww face. “What the fu--? So cheesy.”

“Amber, will you be my girl?” Minho asked her right in front of everyone and light spotted Amber’s position. Every girl squealed like crazy women

Both Kris and Amber were surprised. ‘What?! She’s my wife!’ Kris shouted in his mind. Tao and Luhan walked to Kris’ position very fast. “Kris, you have to do something!” Luhan whispered him

“Just acting like you’re drunk!” Tao asked him as he pushed him

“Amber, what’s your answer?” Minho bit his bottom lip

“Minho, I….” Before Amber could give him her answer, suddenly Kris came approaching her. He really did like he was drunk just like Tao said before.

“Hey! Hey, wait! Who says you can make her yours?” He pretended to hiccup and wrapped her shoulders.

“What are you doing?” Amber whispered him

Kris pointed his index finger to her and told everyone in the ballroom. “She’s mine! She’s my girlfriend!” Then, He laughed. Everyone looked at him with surprising look. “Right, baby?” He grinned

From the distance, Tao and Luhan were amazed by his acting. “Yeah, yeah, just like that, you’re so cool, Kris!” They both clapped their hands sneakily. .

“Get off me!” Amber pushed him away from her. “You’re drunk!” Then, she ran away to the door.

Everyone looked at that scene in shock. Kris looked at her in confusion, “Oh, sshhi--!” He chased after her to the door but he couldn’t find her

He got into his car and found her walking through the street alone with angry face. He opened the window car and drove the car slowly

“Hey, I’m sorry.” He said, he didn’t know what to say

“C’mon, get in the car now.” He asked her to get into the car with him but she kept walking

“Our parents will kill me if I let you walk home alone.” He said again but she ignored him

“There are many bad guys out there, you can’t beat them alone with your heels.” But she didn’t respond him at all

“Although you’re an expert in Taekwondo…” He added but she didn’t look at him at all

He heaved a sigh facing his stubborn wife. “Your new high heels will be broken if you walk from here to our house.”

Then, she stopped her steps, she looked to her heels first then, got into his car.

“Fasten your seatbelt.” Kris said then, she did it

“You’re not drunk?” She asked him

“Uhh… Let’s talk when we’re home.”

“You’re weird!” She shouted out loud in the car to him

“Whatever. I don’t care.” He just drove to the house….
