It looked same just like three years ago, the wedding picture still hung on the wall in the living room, the servants were still busy with their job in the house or sometimes they should babysit the princess of this huge house and the doves still chirped wonderfully 

 

Four young people came into the house as they brought the birthday cake right at 12 o'clock. They entered the dark room and they found her sleeping on her king sized bed. 

 

"SURPRISEEEEE!!!!" Their voice filled the whole room, they shouted out loud jogged the sleeping beauty 

 

"Uh... Guys..." Amber let out her voice reluctantly. "Shut up, it's midnight." She started to sleep again 

 

Luna and Krystal jumped to the bed, pressed their body onto Amber's heavily. "It's your birthday! Wake up!" Krystal poked Amber's over and over 

 

"C'mon, princess, wake up. You're 20 now." Luhan said as Krystal and Luna kept pulling her hands in order that she got up

 

"I'm 5." She denied it. She was still lazy to get up from the bed 

 

"Make a wish~" Tao pushed the cake toward her. She saw it and she felt no mood about it because they put Kris' picture on it 

 

"He won't come again, I'm sure about that." She complained about it, her friends just looked at her with sad eyes and Luna patted her hair. Then, she closed her eyes, she made a wish for this year. She blew the candle with one breath

"Still thinking about him?" Luna snapped Amber to go back to reality from her daydreaming in Krispy-land 

 

"It's been three years already. He doesn't know that I miss him so much." Amber put her chin on her palm while she watched many couples at the park in front of student's cafetaria 

 

"But you always skype him, right? Maybe he's busy with his study and the company. He's a billionaire kid, remember?" Luna made intense stare to her 

 

"I don't care he's billionaire or not. At least, he comes home." Amber shook her head then, she exited the cafetaria leaving Luna alone 

 

Amber walked through the park, seeing many couples doing romantic scene made her sick of it. She wanted to be with Kris but he didn't come home to see her although he always said that he missed her too, he loved her but she just wanted to see him in person. 

 

"Hey." She felt someone poking her shoulder from behind. She heard his deep voice, it sounded like her husband but Kris was still in Canada. 

 

She turned around and saw a tall man with bundle of roses which covered his face. He slid down the roses then, made a mega grin in front of her. She smirked looking at him. "Oh, you." 

 

"Happy birthday. It's still 5 pm. I'm not late, right?" He looked at his watch on his hand then, saw her again as he gave her the flowers. 

 

She smelled the fragrance of the roses. "Thank you." 

 

"Well, you're 20 years old this year, so I give you 20 roses." He kept smiling when he was talking to her 

 

"It's 19." After she finished counting, she told him 

 

"Huh?" His eyes got widened 

 

"It's 19 flowers not 20." She gave him back the flowers so that he could count them for himself

 

"Uuuhﾅ Close your eyes, count to 20, I'll be back." He gave her back the roses as he told her very fast then, she did what he said. He ran away from her to nowhere while she just counted as she closed her eyes. 

 

"18... 19... 20..." She opened her eyes but she didn't find him in front of her. She heaved a sigh. "Chanyeol, you're not coming back." She murmured 

 

"Amber!" He shouted from distance as he ran toward her. "It seems I'm late." He panted. "But this is for you." He gave her the rose. "They're 20 now." 

 

She took the rose from his hand then, she wiped his sweat on his face with her hand. "Let's stroll on the beach." She grinned widely as she held his hand. Chanyeol rolled his eyes because every time they celebrated her birthday, she always wanted to go to a beach and she asked him to do something unnecessary, so he was little bit sick of it. 

 

"Please..." She made puppy eyes as she begged him. 

 

He let out a sigh first as he looked down to her. "Okay."

While Chanyeol waited for her on the white sand, Amber went to nowhere. Actually, she went to the place where she and Kris buried the time capsule box. She dug the sand and found the box, she took a piece of paper out of it. 

 

-I really want to swim with you in the midnight at the lake near our school. . BecauseI want to feel the chill-

 

She read Kris' handwriting, her face was like 'wtf' but because she promised to do that, she thought she would do it with Chanyeol because Kris wasn't here with her. 

 

She buried the box again and came to Chanyeol who was still sitting on the white sand waited for her. 

 

"Where have you been?" He asked her and he started to stand up

 

"Toilet." She smiled 

 

He narrowed his eyes. "You don't want to do 'something' on your birthday today?" 

 

"Well,  actually, there's something I wanna do with you." She looked down to the white sand and bit her bottom lip. 

 

"I hope it didn't relate to bathe in the mud with pig again just like last year." Chanyeol was worried about it 

 

"No!" She widened her eyes. "No, of course not." She shook her head. "I wanna swim with you in the midnight at the lake near my high school." She said very fast, she could see Chanyeol's jaw dropped. She closed her eyes. "... because I want to feel the chill."  

 

"WHAT?!?! No, no, no, no.. I have fever.." Chanyeol refused it then, he pretended to cough and sneeze in front of her 

 

"Please, Channie... I really wanna do it. It's for my birthday." She held his hands and kept begging him 

 

"Why is always nonsense thing?" He brought her to walk to his car as his hand was around her waist. She kept giggling while he was annoyed. 

 

They both went to her school, it only took an hour from the beach before. They both waited right there in the Chanyeol's car until midnight came. 

 

"It's been 4 hours since we got here. You wanna do it now?" He asked her who was sitting beside him 

 

"I feel cold..." She stuttered and her teeth gritted. 

 

"Alright, I think I should bring you home." Chanyeol said 

 

"No." Amber stopped him for starting the engine. "I'll count to 3. We take off our clothes then go to the lake." 

 

"Oh my God, I'm not ready for this.." He said

 

"1...2...3..." She counted then, she took off her shirt and her pants while he looked at her surprisingly. She got out of the car then, jumped to the lake. 

 

"Oh, . She really does that." He took off his clothes too and only wore his boxer. He joined her to the lake 

 

"Chanyeol, it's really cold!" She shouted excitedly 

 

"I know!!" He was as high as her 

 

"I think I will drown." She became weak and her feet cramps 

 

He approached her and caught her in his hands. "Let's get out of here." He chuckled while she did too. They both got out of the water, Chanyeol gave her piggyback to his car fast as they kept laughing out loud 

 

He took a towel from back seat for her and covered her with it. "Thanks." 

 

"Get in the car." He opened the car door and helped her to get in. He took one towel for him then, he got in the car too just like her. 

 

"Are you satisfied now?" He asked with smile 

 

"I don't wanna do this again. But thanks for accompanying me." She gave him back a smile 

 

"Amber, we've been friends for three years and you always do nonsense thing on your birthday. Is that ritual on your birthday or something?" 

 

"No, it's just uh.. I don't know how to explain but I just want to do that in my young age." Actually it was all because of her husband 

 

"You're weird." He commented 

 

"What? You're too! How does someone have cute face but have manly voice??" She pinched his nose 

 

"It's my charm. You like it, right?" He grinned while she punched his chest playfully

"Happy belated birthday." 

 

"Why are you always like this every year?" Amber skyp-ed Kris in her bedroom 

 

"You know I'm busy. I'm a student and CEO for my dad's company at the same time, I hope you can understand me." He said, then his hand touched his monitor like he was caressing her face. "I miss you a lot. I really wanna see you and hug you in my arms." 

 

"Me too." She made intense stare onto his eyes. 

 

"You've changed now. Look at you, you have curves respectively." He tried to change the mood between them. He really tried hard to make her laugh again 

 

"You become more mysterious than before." She gave him a little smile. "We've never kissed since three years ago." 

"It would be weird if we kissed through the monitor." He chuckled then, he couldn't believe that she agreed with his suggestion because she made 'let's do it' face
