“Kris! OMG! It’s Kris!!!” bunch of junior girls were hitting on him when he was watching basketball match on the bleachers. He couldn’t play with his friends because of his folly yesterday.

“We’re bringing our cooking for you. Hope you like it and you must take care of yourself.” One of the girls said and Kris just accepted it then, he gave them smile

They went away from him and squealed. “KYAAAAA!!! He accepts my cooking!!”

Kris who was looking at them from behind just shook his head. He opened the lunch box and he could see many meats in it. “Meat…. Amber must be angry… Hey, why am I like this?” He mumbled by himself.

He went out from the basketball court and he reached soccer field to see Minho’s match. Suddenly, he found Amber with her friends cheering for Minho excitedly.

“Tsk! She cheers for him and ignores her handsome husband? Does she know that I’m sick?” He glared at Amber from the distance and stepped his foot on the ground very hard.

He walked to approach her but he decided to sit beside her silently.

“Wooohoooo!! Minhooo!! He made score! He made score!!” Amber shouted crazily

“Hey, Am… Amber…” Krystal whispered her.

“What, Krys?” She turned to her as she made annoying expression

“Umm, Kris is sitting beside you.” Krystal pointed her index finger to him then, Amber turned her face to Kris who was sitting beside her silently

“What are you doing here?” She asked him

He turned his face to see her. “I’m buying a buffalo.” He rolled his eyes. “Of course, I’m watching this match. What are you thinking about?” He threw away his sight from her again

“Why do you always act cool? Is that your hobby?” She asked him such rhetoric question

“Yeah, this is me.” He nodded and she just shook her head.

They watched the match together then, the ball went to Amber’s position, she wanted to catch it but Kris’ hands were longer than her. He caught the ball in order that the ball couldn’t hurt her.

They both looked at each other’s eyes for a sec then, Minho came and he was on his knee in front of Amber. “Oh, hey… Amber, I’m sorry again. This is my bad.”

“Yeah, I’m okay. Don’t worry.” She smiled in front of Minho. Kris narrowed his eyes seeing them both as he was still holding the ball

“Hey, dude. Here’s your ball.” Kris threw the ball to Minho hardly but Minho could catch it only with one hand. “Thanks.”

“Umm, so, do you want to walk with me today?” Minho asked her for a date again today and he really begged her

“I’m sorry, Minho…” She rejected him for the second time, it made Minho disappoint and Kris furrowed his eyebrow

“Why? You have a plan again for today?” Minho asked her again

“Yeah, actually there’s someone who needs to be taken care by me today. Maybe next time.” Amber explained the reason why she rejected him

“Oh, okay.” Minho got up and walked to the field again while Kris who was sitting beside her, whispered her something. “Who’s that person that needs to be taken care by you?”

She looked at him with lazy gaze, she picked up a small mirror from her pocket and showed it to him. “Can you see the person?”

Kris looked at his own shadow in Amber’s mirror and he realized whom she meant. “Oh.” He looked at her awkwardly. “Thanks..” He bit his bottom lip

“Amber, what did you talk about to Kris?” Krystal was curious, she whispered Amber

“Just… Little chit chat.” She smiled

“I just realized that you look pale today. Are you sick?” Krystal looked at her face

“No, I’m okay.”

Kris was sitting on the couch waiting for Amber who was taking the aid kit for his treatment. She came to the living room and sat beside him on the couch.

She did a treatment for his wound on his forehead slowly without hurting him. “Ouch, slow down, okay?”

“I… I’m sorry, I’m sorry… I’m trying to not hurt you.” She did it very slowly right now. Kris looked at her and without his realization, he was mesmerized by her figure.

She put on bandage on his forehead then, he thanked her. She went to the bathroom and came back again with washbasin full of warm water.

She washed his injury feet. She heaved a sigh as she did that. “Kris… Why are you so stupid?”

”What?” He didn’t know why she asked him that question

“Nah, you don’t have to answer it.” She bit her bottom lip without looking at his face. “I’m done. I want to take a bath.” She got up and held the washbasin

“Hey, Am… I’ll cook for tonight.”

“Okay.” She walked to her bedroom and Kris walked to the kitchen. He was still confused about what he would make for this dinner but finally, he would try to make something with vegetables even though he didn’t like it

When he was serving the food on the table, he kept wondering why Amber took a long time to bath. He walked to her bedroom and he didn’t found her so, he knocked her bathroom door.

“Are you in there, Amber?” He called her but no response. “Hey, what are you doing?” He kept knocking but she didn’t respond him

“I go inside, okay?” He asked her but he didn’t hear her voice, so, he opened the door. He saw Amber in the bath but she didn’t move. He was little bit worried about her. “Amber?”

He approached her and he realized that she closed her eyes. “Are you sleeping?” He asked her but she didn’t answer, he placed his palm on her forehead. He felt she was very warm, he was surprised. He knew that she was sick, maybe flu.

He carried her from the bath tub to her bed. He picked her towel to dry her up first before he put on her clothes.

He took care of her. He brought her food into her room but she hadn’t waken up yet so, he just waited for her to wake up.

He waited for her about two hours or more until she woke up. “Hmmm… Kris…” She opened her eyes very slowly and she sounded weak

“Are you really awake?” He asked her as he sat on the floor beside her bed. She nodded. “You should tell me that you’re sick.” He said

“I’m hungry…” She said randomly

“I’ll feed you.” He helped her to get up and started to feed her. “Is it good?” He asked her about his cooking

She nodded. “Thanks. You should try it too.”

“Yeah, later after you eat.” He said but she forced him to eat his own cooking. She fed him too and he felt weird with his own cooking because he realized that there was carrot.

“It’s good, right?” She asked him

He nodded awkwardly. “Yeah…”

After Kris fed her, he had her take a rest again as he sat beside her on the edge of her bed. “Kris, I want to ask something. Umm, who brought me to the bed from the bathroom and put clothes on me?”

“Uuuhh…. Well… umm..” He closed his eyes tightly. “Me..” He took a peek to see her. “I… I didn’t intend to see you… like that but uh.. you look sick, so, I... uh..” He said with awkward tone

“Thanks.” Suddenly, she kissed his cheek and it made his face become red.

“I… I… I’ll go to the downstairs. I’ll be right back.” He went to the downstairs to put the dish after that, he went to Amber’s bedroom again.

“I’ll wait for you here.” He said as he sat on the floor beside her bed.

“We can share this bed, Kris.” Amber moved a bit to give him a place beside her

“Are you sure?” He made sure about this to her

“Yes, I won’t make you pregnant tonight.” She giggled then, she closed her eyes.

Kris realized what she just said and he chuckled. He made a way to lay beside her..
