“C-Cha-nyeol….” 

They were shocked and surprised especially Kris. He couldn’t believe it, she mentioned Chanyeol’s name over and over not his name, although he was her husband. His world turned upside down..

“Yes, yeah, I’m here. I’m here for you, Amber.” Chanyeol held Amber’s hand and caressed her hair in front of Kris, Luhan and Tao

Kris couldn’t stand only by looking out his wife was being held by another guy, he exited the room and asked the doctor to check Amber inside

The boys were waiting for the doctor’s deduction outside of the room, Tao called Luna and Luhan called Krystal for coming to the hospital as soon as possible while Kris still hoped that Amber would remember him, at least she remembered his name.

“How’s her?” Kris immediately asked the doctor when he was getting out of Amber’s room

“She’s fine but she’s still weak. You all can check her inside but don’t be surprised if she doesn’t remember little things in her life.” The doctor informed all of them as he smiled, they all thanked him for this and got inside the room to see her condition

“Chanyeol.” Amber’s voice filled the whole room

“Hey, sleeping beauty, how’re you doing?” Chanyeol approached her and sat next to her bed as he held her hand

She almost whispered. “I have little headache.”

“You’ll be fine soon, I promise.” He gave her a warm smile and she gave back her smile. Then, she looked around the room, she saw familiar figures

“Luhan, Tao.” Amber called her friends. “Krystal, Luna.” She continued, she caught a tall man who was standing beside Tao with worried face looked at her hopelessly.

Her friends approached her. “Err, you forget something.” Krystal told her

“Something what, Soojung?” She asked the long haired girl. Krystal’s eyes directed to Kris then, she switched to Amber’s position.

“Don’t you remember him?” Krystal asked as she pointed to Kris

Amber observed Kris’ figure, she didn’t know what she thought about him. “Who are you?” She asked her own husband, the others were shocked especially Kris

Kris inhaled the air deeply, he tried to calm down. He approached her and held her hand. Their eyes met with each other, “Don’t you remember me? At least my name.”

“No.” She shook her head. “Are you a doctor?”

Kris heard what her question for him, he heaved a sigh and let go of her hand. “I’m so sorry.” He stood up desperately. “I gotta go.” He kept his head down as he got out of the room, he couldn’t hold his tears. Tao and Luna followed Kris behind to calm him down. Kris was very sad because the one that he loved didn’t remember him anymore.

“Amber, I want to ask you something.” Luhan bit his bottom lip. “Do you remember your name?”

“Why do you ask me that question?” Amber giggled a little bit. “Amber Josephine Liu. That’s my name.”

“Do you remember that you work with me?” Chanyeol asked her

“Of course.” She answered him immediately

“Do you know where you live?” Luhan asked her again

“I live in.. uh.. I..” Amber stuttered, she only remembered her home in LA

Then, Krystal cut her off. “Do you remember that you have a husband?” Krystal asked her best friend straightforwardly because the boys took a long time to ask her about it

“What? Are you crazy?” Amber was surprised a bit but she was cool about it

“That man is your husband.” Krystal told her and Amber furrowed her eyebrow. “The one that you thought as a doctor before.”

Amber couldn’t believe it, she didn’t remember anything about Kris. Her heart pounded fast, she couldn’t think about anything. She held Chanyeol’s hand tightly and locked her eyes into his. “Really?”

Chanyeol’s eyes directed to Krystal and Luhan asking for help but they just nodded signaling him to tell everything. Luhan and Krystal got out of the room for joining the others leaving Chanyeol with Amber.

“I hope he wasn’t your husband but he is.” Chanyeol couldn’t stare at her eyes

“I don’t.. I don’t get it.” Amber shook her head. “You just proposed me in the park, right?”

“Yes, but you rejected me. Do you remember the reason is?” Chanyeol asked her back

“Of course, it’s because… Because… Because I uh.. I..” She tried to remember the reason but she couldn’t

“Because you said that you had a husband and you really loved him.” Chanyeol looked at her in the eye

“No, no way.” Amber couldn’t believe it. Why couldn’t she remember anything? Why was she being like this right now.

“And your last name isn’t Liu but Wu.” Chanyeol added and it made Amber even confuse

Three days later, Chanyeol brought Amber to her house which she shared with Kris while Kris still couldn’t talk to Amber because of her amnesia, he was still sad because she didn’t remember him at all

“This is your house.” Chanyeol opened the door for her

“Are you sure? This is too huge. It’s like a kingdom or something.” Amber was still mumbling while Chanyeol gesture her to go inside the house

As she entered the house, she saw many servants and a tall man who stood in the middle of them. “Welcome home, Mrs. Wu.”

She was surprised and bewildered but she tried to smile in front of them. “Thank you, but seriously, you guys don’t need to do this for me.”

“I’ll bring your stuff to your bedroom.” Sunny helped her to bring her stuff

“No, no, no, no, I can do by myself.” Amber rejected

“It’s alright, furthermore, Mr. Wu really wants to talk to you.” She gave her a warm smile then, Sunny glanced at Kris as she nodded. The servants got out of the scene and Chanyeol followed them but Amber grasped his wrist

“Where are you going?” She asked him

“I wanna help them, don’t worry you’ll be fine.” Then, Chanyeol went away from her with the servants leaving her with Kris alone

Amber was really awkward in front of Kris while he walked to approach her. “Mr. Wu.” She said weirdly

He his hand forward asking for shaking hands. “I’m Kris, nice to meet you.” He said calmly with smile

“I’m Amber.” She shook his hand, she could feel his warmth and she didn’t know why her heart beat fast. “You’re my husband?”

“Let’s be friend first.”

“F-F-friend? But..”

Kris put his index finger onto her lips. “I won’t force you to remember me. I think we should start it from the very beginning.” He held her hands gently and made deep stare into her eyes

“Kris..” Amber could see his teary eyes, there was sadness that he couldn’t hide it from her. “I’m sorry.”
