Joo-hyun made her way to school followed by her bodyguards Paul and Randy. As she got out of her car they followed her closely. All the kids suddenly had their eyes on her whispering and looking but Joo-hyun didn’t bother to care anymore.

“Are you guys going to follow me everywhere?” she turned to them as they entered the building

“We are just going to talk to the principle to inform him of our presence on campus. But we are not allowed to let you out of our sight. That is out job Joo-hyun,” said Randy who was older of the two

“If you feel like we are cramping our style?” asked Paul who was only 10 years older than Joo-hyun

“No its just kids have always stared at me and now they are staring even more but I guess this is my life now,”

“Not to worry. When they have caught this killer your father won’t need us anymore,” Joo-hyun laughed

“I highly doubt that,”

Hyo-yeon and Jessica came running up to Joo-hyun.

“Where’s the fire?” asked Joo-hyun as she put her books in her locker

“Well you’re rather calm,” said Hyo-yeon

“Are they going to be here like this all day, every day?” asked a curious Jessica

“No they will only be on the grounds. They won’t be shadowing me to my classes or the bathroom,” she laughed as Paul blushed

“Well now that we’ve got that out of the way. Spill your guts. What happened last night?” asked Hyo-yeon

Joo-hyun waited till Randy came back to leave with Paul to tell the girls what she found.

“They were all pretty much wasted after the game. Me and Kai went up to his room where he soon passed out. I found a needle with substance in one of his socks. I don’t know if it’s even related to Chen but…”

“When we went to visit Chen he had needle marks in his arm,” said Jessica

All the color drained from Joo-hyun’s face.

“You have to go to the cops,” said Hyo-yeon

“I know I will,”

“Joo-hyun,” Kai snuck up behind her

“OMG don’t do that. You totally scared me,” she faced Kai holding her chest

“Can I talk to you?” he pulled her aside

“Yes you can. I will see you two later,” Hyo-yeon and Jessica reluctantly left, “What’s up?”

Kai turned and looked at Suho and Joo-hyun followed his eyes to him as well. She had her poker face on as he gave her a smug look and walked away.

“Suho can be a load of crap sometimes but sometimes he’s not. So I hope this time he’s a load of crap. He said you were looking through my things which I told him you would never do that,”

“Suho is full of crap,” in her head she knew the truth. She did look through his things. She said Suho was crap for other things so technically she wasn’t lying to Kai’s face

“I knew it,” he hugged her tight, “Gosh all the stuff he was saying about you was pissing me off. He called you a liar and a thief and that I couldn’t trust you,”

“Suho has such a vivid imagination. Why would I steal from you?”

“I know right but he did say he found you in there,”

“I was in there,” Kai’s eyes got wide, “But only because I was wondering why a boy has a closet that size and is so neat,” she smiled as he laughed

“What can I say? I like my things in order. Did you have fun though? I’m sorry we all got so drunk,”

“Why are you apologizing? It opened everyone up to share their true feelings and yes I had fun. Luhan was a hoot,”

“Don’t mind him. He didn’t know what he was saying,”

“Is he here today?”

“I think he’s out sick,”

“Oh well I was gonna . Maybe next time,”

“Joo-hyun I want you to be careful. I know I say this all the time but for real. I don’t want you anywhere near Suho unless I’m around,”

“I’m not scared of Suho. I have two bodyguards now and even if I didn’t have them Suho doesn’t intimidate me. Does he scare you?”

“I don’t know; he’s changed. Just stay clear from him for a little bit ok,” he kissed her, “I gotta go. Big test today,”

“Ok bye,” she walked to her own class

ELSEWHERE IN THE SCHOOL

“Xiumin you are back. Remind me again who takes a two week vacation in the middle of the term?” asked Suho

“What are you complaining about? I have a doctor’s note,” they laughed, “So what have I missed?”

“I need a huge favor from you,”

“What? Or should I ask who,”

“Joo-hyun,” they both smiled

“Time is wrapping up my man and rather quickly,”

“Well then we ought to go out in style,” they laughed as they went to their classes

Jessica was trying to concentrate on what the teacher was teaching but she couldn’t focus. Why did he make her feel this way? Why did he clog her thoughts so much? When she first met Chanyeol she thought he was the doped up kid who didn’t take life seriously but as she got to know him he was so much more. He was a loving doting brother. He would do anything for his friends. Heck he pushed her out of the way of a moving car and at that time he didn’t know her that well. But as the days passed they got close. Very close and she truly adored him. So for him not to text or call the whole weekend was unlike him. She had an unnerving feeling in the pit of her stomach. The bell rang and Jessica ran after DO and Sehun.

“Hey,”

“Oh hey,” said Sehun as he looked at her in a strange way. Jessica knew why

“I know we don’t really know each other and you feel as if I stole your best friend…”

“Sehun is so childish,” said a laughing DO

“Well she has. We barely get to see Chanyeol anymore because you are all he talks about and you are all he wants to see. I get it though,” he turned from her

“He’s being a big baby because we saw Chanyeol the other day,” DO playfully shoved Sehun as he rolled his eyes and walked to his locker

“You did,” she felt relieved

“You are all he talks about. He really likes you,” DO smiled at Jessica

“He does? Well I kind of like the goofball too. That explains why he cut he phone off. He probably wanted to spend some quiet time with you guys,”

“I tried to call him yesterday though but I didn’t get an answer,” Sehun said

“Yea me too. I haven’t seen Luna yet but when I do, I’m gonna ask her. It’s strange though for him not to answer because he always has his phone attached to his hip,”

“Well maybe he hasn’t turned it back on because of what we were doing that night,” Sehun eyed DO and smiled

“What were you doing? I hope nothing illegal,” Jessica was worried

“Well I wouldn’t call it illegal. I have friends in high places and well let’s just say we had a job to do,”

“Dangerous?”

“Well we didn’t get caught so no it wasn’t dangerous,” said Sehun

“I don’t even want to know. Just let me know if you hear from him,” she walked away still with Chanyeol on her mind

AT LUNCH

“Do I have something on my face, damn,” said Hyo-yeon

“You really need to take anger management classes girl,” teased Tao

“Screw you,” she laughed

“You’re beautiful babe,” Lay kissed her cheek

“Well, tell that to Xiumin and Suho who keep looking over here. You’re brother is so weird,”

“He is not my brother! And I don’t think they are looking at you Hyo-yeon,” Tao pointed to Joo-hyun who had her head in the current book she was reading

“You don’t think they know something,” whispered Lay

Hyo-yeon couldn’t shake this sick feeling she was suddenly having.

“Joo-hyun,”

“Yea,” she looked up from her book

“Don’t look but why are Xiumin and Suho looking at you,”

Joo-hyun whipped out her phone and texted Hyo-yeon

SUHO TOLD KAI ABOUT ME GOING IN HIS CLOSET. I’M PRETTY SURE HE KNOWS I TOOK THE NEEDLE. NOW WHETHER HE TOLD KAI I TOOK THE NEEDLE, I DON’T KNOW.

Hyo-yeon tried not to react too much but that didn’t sit well with her at all.

“You have to go today; you know the place we talked about this morning,”

“I will,”

“Oh so cryptic,” laughed Tao

“This is no joke. I will tell you two later,” Hyo-yeon continued her lunch as Joo-hyun continued her book

“Hey where is Jessica?” asked Lay

“I don’t know,” said Hyo-yeon

Jessica couldn’t wait for DO to contact Luna. She wasn’t thinking clearly because she could have just called Krystal and asked her to ask Luna about her brother’s whereabouts not drive all the way to Chanyeol’s house.

The Parks lived in lovely two story house in a subdivision. Because the place was recently surrounded by trees they still had a lot of greenery surrounding there house. When Jessica arrived she rang the doorbell. There were no cars in the driveway. Maybe he was running an errand. She walked around the house and looked through the windows. Everything appeared to be in order; nothing seemed out of place.

She thought she would try to call his cell phone again. It started to ring and then she heard a faint sound behind his house. His phone was ringing. Her heart dropped as she searched for his phone. She prayed she would just find his phone and not his dead body. She instantly started crying as she made her way to the back of his house to the wood area.

“Chanyeol?” she stopped instantly when she saw what looked like a shoe sticking out behind the bush

When she found him she let out a piercing scream. She placed her hands over her eyes because he was covered in his blood.

“Chanyeol,” she ran to him and held him, “Chanyeol please don’t be dead. You can’t be. Please open your eyes. Talk to me. Please. I love you, you can’t die. Oh God please don’t take him from me,”

Cough, cough

“Chanyeol are you alive,” he opened his eyes, “911…”

Ok so I was so going to kill off Chanyeol....but I adore him too much and I like Jessica and him together. Xiumin is back in the story and so are DO and Sehun. DO and Sehun are going to be regulars now. So many questions. Suho thinks he's all that, doesn't he. Is Kai a good guy or a bad one? I just wanted to update for you guys because it's been awhile.
