As they returned to the cars, they had put Key’s body in a body bag and the ambulance came to aid to Luna and Krystal.

“Luna we have to tell you something. Your brother was injured,” said Jessica

Tears instantly fell from Luna’s face, “What happened?”

“He was hit by a car trying to save me. But they will take you to the hospital he’s at,”

“I have to call my parents,” she said sadly

“Don’t worry. We will call them for you,” said Joo-hyun as she hugged Luna

“It was Baekhyun who attacked us and he told us it’s not over,” said Krystal as she clung to her sister

“OMG, look at your face,” Jessica examined her sister’s face then kissed it

“Baekhyun?” said a shocked Joo-hyun

“I wonder if Kai knows he’s friend is a killer,” said Jessica eyeing Joo-hyun

They both were thinking the same thing. Kai was too connected with all the people involving these murders except for Rachel and Stacy. They really didn’t hang in the same circle.

“Krystal I want you to go to the hospital to get checked out,” said Jessica

Krystal got into the ambulance with Luna and the girls got into the car with Layla and Seung-ho. They all drove to the hospital where they later found out that Chanyeol was going to be alright.

Luna ran to her brother’s bed and told him what happened. He cried as he held his sister tightly. Jessica was waiting with Joo-hyun outside the room.

“Are you ok?” asked Joo-hyun

Jessica exploded with emotions, “I cannot believe…my baby sister was almost murdered tonight…” she paused to think

“What? Jessica what?”

“Kai,” Joo-hyun looked at her seriously, “He threatened my life today,” Joo-hyun realized she was right, “He told me he wanted to shut me up, remember?”

“I was there,”

“I should have been the one who was hit by the car but Chanyeol blocked it. Somehow he knew where my sister was and he went after her,”

“But Baekhyun did his dirty work for him,”

“How would he know where my sister was? She doesn’t hang with them?”

“But Chanyeol sometimes does,”

Jessica was seeing red. If Chanyeol was involved in this she was going to kill him herself.

“I’m going to talk to him,”

“Just wait, he just got out of surgery and he just found out his own sister was attacked,”

“Which is perfect timing,” she opened the door without knocking to find the siblings talking, “I have to talk to Chanyeol. Privately,”

“Ok I’m going to wait for Mom and Dad,” Luna kissed her brother and left the room as Joo-hyun came in and closed the door

“Are you ok Jessica?” asked a nervous Chanyeol

“You look nervous Chanyeol. I wonder why that is?”

“I’m just worried about you guys. Tonight has been a crazy night,”

“I want to ask you something and you had better be honest with me. Kai, you hang out with him right?”

“Sometimes,”

“Do you know anything about these murders? Why were you there suddenly when that car came after me. Did you know what was going to happen? How did Baekhyun know where my sister was? Did you tell him?”

“Come on Chanyeol. There’s a lot of missing pieces but then there are facts that make sense and then there are certain people who keep popping up in this, especially my boyfriend Kai,”

“Shouldn’t you know your own boyfriend?”

“I should. We used to be friends but then he changed and now I don’t know what to think,”

“Tell us Chanyeol. Surly you want justice for Luna even Key who is dead now,” said Jessica

“I can answer one question. I took the bus home because my car is in the shop. I was walking home from the bus stop and I ran into Luhan and Suho which is weird because they don’t live on this side of town. We didn’t exchange words; I nodded at them I kept on walking towards my block. It was getting dark and I saw it,”

“Saw what?”

“The car was about to hit you. You guys’ car was a block ahead and his car was a block behind and I was in between those blocks. He’s lights were out but I heard the car reeve up. I did what any normal person would do. I ran for it and pushed you out of the way,”

“You said you saw the car but did you see the person?” Joo-hyun asked

Chanyeol suddenly got hot. He was nervous and anxious. He couldn’t tell them. His life and family depended on it.

“You don’t understand…”

“Tell us Chanyeol!” yelled Jessica

“I can’t. They came here before you guys got here. They came into my room. They threaten my life. They threaten my sister and my family. No one is safe they said. They don’t care who they hurt, as long as the truth stays hidden. If I tell even if I tell anonymously, they will know it was me and it’s over. It will be all over. I’m sorry I can’t say anything,”

“It’s fine,” Jessica was calm; Joo-hyun gave her a confused look

“What?” she looked at Jessica

“It’s fine because he already said two names,” she turned to Chanyeol with a smug look on her face; “Suho and Luhan, you already gave them up. It was them wasn’t it,”

“Just stop, you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into,” said Chanyeol

“I don’t freaking care. If you want to come after me, fine come after me then but when you try to kill my sister and then kill her friend instead, then I have a problem with it!”

“So what, we know about Suho and Luhan driving in a car on this side of town but we don’t have proof. The only proof is Chanyeol and he’s not talking. If we go to police with this, they will investigate and then Suho and Luhan will know we are on to them. Its better we don’t say anything. Let’s play it cool,” said Joo-hyun

Jessica was shaking with rage, “I’m so pissed off right now but you’re right. We need to keep it cool,” she turned to Chanyeol, “Thank you for saving my life,”

“No problem. I want to help though. They won’t hurt me because I know their secret. I can be like your inside man,” he smiled at them

“That would be great,” said Joo-hyun

They girls left the hospital with Krystal and Seung-ho and Layla. They drove Jessica and her sister home first and then Joo-hyun.

“Thank you,” said Joo-hyun as she walked to her door

“Wait,” Seung-ho ran to her, “I have a lot of questions for you. Come by the station tomorrow if you can. Just like your “boyfriend” Kai, you seem to be in the center of it too,”

SO SORRY! Another short short chapter. Haven't updated in awhile because I had other things to do. Plus I have 2 other stories I'm working on. Feel free to check them out. I wanted to update though. The next chapter will be more detailed as Joo-hyun starts to read the book about her mother. And about the original twist, I have changed it again but I like this ending better. The master mind of the killings isn't someone you thought of and their reasons behind it will shock you, hopefully. Hope you enjoy=)
