“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies…

the man who never reads lives only one.”
–George R.R. Martin, A Dance With Dragons

I've never heard of him, nor of his book. But when my English teacher had shared the quote, I was sure as heck that it summed up everything I wanted to convey. It epitomized my feelings as a proud reader in the simplest form. Yet, it was also the finest objective that an aspiring writer, just like me, could come up to.

Not more than two years ago, I came across this unfamiliar site and was pretty hooked up in an instant. Back then, when I was only a fourteen-year-old girl, I could tell that I was more inclined in writing than reading. I was a journalist-specialized in editorials, news articles, essays and a lot more fact-based compositions. But when I came back on this site, to check for more updates, I was also aware that I then became one of those silent readers.

It was definitely when I started to appreciate online stories, resulting to a burning passion. From fluff which was the only one my soft heart could take back then, to angst which I have learned to cherish later on–I’ve came to enjoy various genres. As of the moment, I am actually craving for fantasy and psychological ones. But the point I wanted to emphasize was that throughout all of those incredible encounters, I was also able to walk in the shoes of the characters in every story. I've felt like I was able to live different lives even when I'm just practically sitting down or lying on the bed.

And as a writer, it gave me the reason to continue writing. I've never thought a simple reading would inspire me to write better. And much more to what I've had imagined, I was also able to expand my skills by practicing numerous sorts; romcom, fluff, angst, friendship, psychological, fantasy, family and counting....(Who knows, I might start mystery, horror, gore or even XD)

I've also lost my fear of talking with online users since I was able to meet trustworthy friends here in aff. It had always been heart-fluttering to read encouragements and praises via wallposts or comments. I was also thankful whenever my observant and concerned readers would correct whatever Iapse I've made. I found fellow fan-girls whom I could spazz, squeal and just be a freaky fan-girl with.

Most especially, I found excellent and worthy-of-respect authors. Some were able to attract me even if I didn't like the characters/couples. Some made me flail my arms in sweetness and cheesiness. Some made me grab some tissues and sob real hard. Some gave me goosebumps. Some just simply made me wanting for more updates.

So to all of my dearest readers and loyal subscribers, I would like to manifest my gratitude by doing better. I would always seek for improvement so that I would be able to return all types of support. Thank you. To all of the friends that have stayed with me even when I've taken a hiatus in writing, thank you. To all of the authors I've looked up to, thank you and keep on inspiring others, like me. <3

ULTIMATE BIAS—Seo Joohyun

;Seo Joohyun is the goddess of the moon.
She radiates a luminous kind of light that leads to the path of righteousness.

She's the personification of refinement.
Amidst the fact that she stands out in everything she does,
she still tries to excell, to achieve the greater heights.

She is the product of sophistication, intelligence, independence and female power.
The sheer femininity in her soothes the people around her,
either through her velvety voice or by means of her gentleness.

She is full of kindness, generosity and maturity.
In spite of the popular claim that she's boring, emotionless and robot-like,
we, seomates, see the real nature of this beautiful being.
Inside and out, she possesses an ethereal beauty.
She knows it enough to be confident but stays modest about it at the same time.

However, she's stubborn; too head-strong about her own grounds.
She's a perfectionist; doing things in a rather strict manner.

Nevertheless, those imperfections she has proves her well-rounded character in general.
