“Kai say something,” she concerned when he didn’t speak for awhile

“Um how,”

“Our parents, my mom, your dad had affair,” he started laughing

“You don’t believe that do you?”

“Yea I do. I read it…”

“In that book that sleazy reporter wrote. You actually believe that crap about them?”

“Kai they have evidence. They have police evidence, private investigation pictures. I don’t how real you want that to be but it’s true,”

“Well then where is the kid, our sister?”

“I have a friend looking into that,”

“What? You mean you have connections in the police department?”

“No but he can hack into things,” she avoided eye contact

“Look I refuse to believe our parents were involved because I know how much my Dad loved my Mom. He would never hurt her and I know the same goes for your parents. They loved each other and I feel like we should just put all these lies and rumors behind us and move on. If there was really a kid I’m sure your friend will find it but I wouldn’t hold my breath,” he got up to leave, “If your Dad isn’t too hard on you about leaving the house, do you want to come over for dinner. My Mom is making it and Suho and Luhan and the girls are coming too. It’s like a couple’s dinner and you can get to know the boys better. They really want to get to know you,”

“I don’t see why he would object but the bodyguards will be outside the house,”

“It’s cool. See you tonight at 7,” he kissed her on the cheek and left

20 minutes later a still angry Hyo-yeon, Jessica, Lay, Tao and Kris came to Joo-hyun’s house with the sad news. Joo-hyun didn’t know how to really feel. Was she sad? Was she relived? She didn’t really know since she never knew she had a sister in the beginning. At least now she knew the honest truth; her mother and Kai’s father did have relations and out of those relations they produced a child. She suddenly had tears in her tears.

“Oh Joo-hyun don’t cry,” Hyo-yeon hugged her

“I’m not crying because of the sister I never knew, I’m crying because it’s true. My mother cheated on my father. Did she really love him or was he just something she could play with. What’s worse is I think my father actually knows. Maybe that’s why he moved me away. Maybe that’s why he always tenses up with I mention her career. Kai’s dad and my mom were always together on set and things. They traveled together which means they got close with one another,” her tears continued, “How could she do that to him? My father is a wonderful man. He would have done anything for her,”

“Don’t beat yourself up about it. It but it’s not like you can ask her which even more,” said Jessica

“How did Kai take the news?” asked Tao

“He didn’t believe me or maybe he already knew and he’s just in denial about it. Anyways he invited me over his house for a couples’ dinner with his buddies and their girlfriends,”

Hyo-yeon and Jessica’s ears perked up.

“This is our chance,” Hyo-yeon said

“What are you talking about?”

“We went to see poor Chen in jail today,” the girls pointed to each other while Kris looked grim

“Poor Chen?” he said

“Yes innocent until proven guilty,” said Jessica

“He’s guilty. The cops have proof. Hyo-yeon I thought I told you I didn’t want you seeing him,” said Lay

“And I thought I told you not to lie to cops to save Kris’ but I guess we both did something the other didn’t want us to do,” she rolled her eyes at him

“How did he look?” asked a concerned Joo-hyun

“Not good. Jail is not his friend,” said Jessica

“I have an idea. I was thinking about this and I personally don’t think Chen killed the Hans. He surely doesn’t have the stomach for that,” said Hyo-yeon

“Oh so you know him now,” said Kris

“Me and Tao were talking about him so he informed me on some things. Anyways today Chen mentioned a recurring name in this whole killing thing. Suho. He mentioned he remembers Suho; that’s it,”

“You think Suho is responsible for this,”

“Absolutely. And since he is always around Kai and Luhan, they must be in on it. Remember that day we went into Kai’s locker…”

“Omg,”

“Yup,”

“What are you guys talking about?” asked Kris

“Kai had a voice changer in his locker. Most likely the same one the killer uses,” said Jessica

“Anyone could be carrying those,” said Kris

“It’s too much of a coincidence,” said Hyo-yeon as she quickly turned her head to Kris giving him a puzzling look, “Why the hell are you defending him?”

“WHAT? I’m not. You just want to find something to hate on me about,” he was angry

“I don’t trust you. Leave this house. I don’t want you hearing our plan in the case you call your sweet brother to warn him,”

“I’m gonna find out anyways. You forget your boyfriend is loyal to me,” he said with a smirk

Hyo-yeon looked sharply at Lay who was caught in the middle.

“Please don’t put me in the middle of you guys’ crap. I’m not gonna choice either one of you if you do this to me. I love peace not war,” he had his arms folded as he looked at them sternly

Joo-hyun tried to get Hyo-yeon back on track. Her newfound hatred for Kris was interesting to watch. Hyo-yeon was never shy about expressing her feelings.

“What’s the plan Hyo-yeon?”

“It involves us three,” she pointed to herself, Jessica and Joo-hyun

“We break into Kai’s house while you entertain downstairs,” said Jessica

Joo-hyun and the boys were floored about their very dangerous and stupid plan.

“Are you out of your minds? Kai will destroy you if he finds out,” said Kris

“What other way is there? I’ve been climbing trees since I was a kid,” said Hyo-yeon

“We have a blueprint plan too. We’ve come prepared,” said Jessica

“All you need to do Joo-hyun is open the balcony window in Kai’s room and since his room is in the back of the house…”

“Easy breezy lemon peezy,” laughed Jessica as she high fived Hyo-yeon

“You think it’s gonna be easy? What if you get caught by oh I don’t know, Jangwoo. He does live there too you know and I’m pretty sure he’s not going to leave the house,” said Joo-hyun

“Well that’s where my pretty little sister comes in. Jangwoo has a major crush on Krystal,” said Jessica

“Pimping out your sister huh?” laughed Tao as Jessica hit him in the arm

“I’m really scared about this plan,” said Joo-hyun

“Oh come on. We have to find evidence to free Chen,” said Hyo-yeon

“What makes you think they would have it just lying around the house? You guys are walking into a death trap. You’re not only putting your lives in danger but if you get caught you’re putting Joo-hyun’s life in danger. Are you willing to risk that? There must be another way,” said Lay

“There is,” said a serious Joo-hyun, “I have to be the one to do it,”

“What? No,” said Kris

“Joo-hyun you can’t. How?” said Hyo-yeon

“Get him drunk,” she simply said

“Yea they are a bunch of alcoholics anyways. Luhan will be the first to go because he’s such a lightweight, then Yoona,” said Jessica

“Suho will be a little bit of a problem. His tolerance is very high but poor Tae-yeon will be wiped out and he’ll have to take care of her,” said Lay

“And that leaves Kai, whose tolerance is in the middle so I believe I can take him,” said Joo-hyun

“It’s still not a safe plan,” said Kris

“Oh shut up Kris. No one asked you. We have to do something and this is a perfect opportunity. If you don’t want to be a part of it, then leave,” said an annoyed Hyo-yeon

“Hyo-yeon please let’s get along. We all need each other,” said Joo-hyun

“What time is the dinner?” asked Tao

“7,” she simply said

Later that night Kai went to go pick up Joo-hyun with her bodyguards following them. She had an idea of how the night would play out but she hoped everyone was susceptible to the plan otherwise she would be in deep trouble. She saw Kai angry once and she didn’t want to be the next victim of his anger.

“Hey babe you seem a million miles away; although I don’t blame you. You were kidnapped. It must have been scary for you. So the cops never found out who took you. The guy seemed pretty tall,”

“No Kai they didn’t,”

“It doesn’t seem like the cops can do their job right, huh? They still haven’t found the killer yet either,”

“Can you be sure there’s only one? I think there is more than one,” Kai got tense

“Why would you say that?”

“Well because there were two people who attacked the poor Hans.  And the police said according to the phone records Stacy was talking to Rachel when they both were murder. It’s scary to think these people have so much hate in their hearts that they don’t care about killing random people. Stacy, Rachel, Key, the Hans. What do they have in common? There has got to be a reason or maybe there isn’t a reason. Maybe they are just random and the killers are trying to get someone’s attention,”

“You’ve been watching too many Law and Order episodes. You’re not a detective sweetie. Can you for once not bring up the killings? Can we have a normal date with my normal friends with the awesome meal my mom made us,” he smiled at her

“Sure babe, whatever you say,” she had so many questions and she felt like time was running out

When they finally reached the house Joo-hyun’s bodyguards were camped outside the house.

“Do you have a curfew missy?” asked Paul

“Yes 11:30,” she smiled at him

“You make sure you’re out by then,” he smiled back at her and gave Kai a dirty look

“I don’t think your bodyguards like me,” he wrapped his arm around her

“They don’t like anyone,”

Kai opened the door to find his little brother Jangwoo ready to leave.

“Hey where are you going?”

“Oh hey Joo-hyun. You look really pretty tonight,” Jangwoo looked her up and down

“Thank you Jangwoo,”

“Focus little brother. She’s mine,” he smiled at Jangwoo, “Where are you going?”

“Me and Krystal Jung are going out,”

“What! Are you kidding me?”

“Nope, it was totally random. I mean I know she has been M.I.A since her attack but I wasn’t expecting her to call me up and ask me out. Girls don’t usually do that,” he smiled

“Krystal is not a normal girl. I hope you guys have fun,” said Joo-hyun

“Yeah I gotta go. See you guys later,” he left the house

Suho, Luhan and Yoona and Tae-yeon were in the family room watching TV when Joo-hyun and Kai came in the room.

“Well, look who is here. It’s Joo-hyun,” said Suho

“Hi guys,” she was nervous but tried to sound strong

“We are so glad you are safe Joo-hyun,” Yoona hugged her

“It must have been so scary,” said Tae-yeon

“I survived,” she smiled weakly

“See my girl is a fighter,” he kissed her cheek as they all made their way to the dining room

Kai’s mom did it big. She broke out the really nice china and decorated the place setting as such. Joo-hyun thought it was too much but she figures that’s how the rich live.

They were all eating the dinner while making polite nice conversation. The meal was delicious and Joo-hyun made sure she kept her engaged in the conversations which consist of school, the dance coming up and other random things. Joo-hyun did feel at ease except for the few times she caught Suho staring at her. He did creep her out. She felt like he was trying to search her mind for something. He didn’t make her feel comfortable at all and that’s when she knew she should start the game.

Once they all finished the meal they made their way back into the family room.

“So what do you guys want to do?” asked Tae-yeon

“I can think of a few things,” Suho pulled Tae-yeon on his lap and kissed her neck, she giggled

“If you guys want to get freaky, go upstairs,” said Kai as he too grabbed Joo-hyun and placed her on his lap. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close

“I have an idea. I think this game will loosen everyone up and we can get to know each other better,” Joo-hyun suddenly said

“What do you have in mind?” asked Luhan

“The game “I Never”

“You want to play a drinking game. Are you trying to put me on your Dad’s list,” asked a surprised Kai

“I think it’s a great idea although I know I’m going to be the first one out,” said Yoona

“But babe you hate that game,” said Luhan as he looked at her getting the liquor out of the cabinet

“I know but I think Joo-hyun’s right. It will loosen everyone up and plus I have some questions that need to be answered,” she smiled at her boyfriend

They all sat on the floor of the family room with their red cups and Tequila and got ready to play the game. Joo-hyun was nervous because one, she never drank before so she didn’t know the affects of her actions and two, how if she was too wasted was she going to search the house for clues.  There was no backing out now since she caught Suho giving her a questioning look.

“You go first Joo-hyun since it was your idea. Game rules,” he smirked at her

“Ok,” she gulped and thought she would start out with something harmless and easy, “I never cheated on a test,”

They all looked around the room and drank from their cups.

“So elementary. What are you 12?” said Suho

“You never cheated on a test?” asked Tae-yeon

“Guys I get straight As and Bs,” Joo-hyun smiled

“Ok my turn,” said Yoona as she started thinking of a question, “I never watched ,” Luhan blushed as he took a sip from his cup along with Kai and Suho, “I knew it!” Yoona poked Luhan in the cheek, “I knew that’s what you and your cousin Ray were watching that time I came in the room and you told me it was something on the National Geographic channel. My boyfriend is a ert,” she laughed

“No I’m not,” Luhan quickly looked at Tae-yeon who also took a sip from her cup, “OMG Tae-yeon you watch !” everyone including Suho was shocked

“What! Sometimes I need something to get me in the mood when my boyfriend is too busy for me. I mean you mine as well move in with Kai, since you’re always over here,” she rolled her eyes at her boyfriend who grabbed her and kissed her

“You don’t know how much that just ,”

“Seriously guys,” said Kai, “My turn,” he glanced at Joo-hyun, “I never had ,” everyone but Kai took a sip from their cups. Actually since Joo-hyun was put on the spot so suddenly she took a rather large gulp.

“OMG the sweet innocent Joo-hyun has had !” said Yoona as Joo-hyun blushed and avoided eye contact with the rather tense Kai

“With who? Oh wait I know, it must have been Kris. You guys were together for 3 years,” said Tae-yeon was a little tipsy

“Shh Tae the girl is not going to tell you, although Kai I’m surprised you’re still a . What are you waiting for or who,” said Yoona who was also feeling the effects of the liquor

Kai glanced at Joo-hyun who still avoided eye contact with him. Luhan and Suho looked at each other.

“I’m saving it for someone special,”

They asked a few more silly questions and each time they were getting more wasted. Luhan and Yoona were the first to go and Tae-yeon was just behind them. As predicted from her friends, Suho didn’t seem to be that much affected by the alcohol but he was a little tipsy. He drank the most and he still held it together but Kai wasn’t holding up to well much to Joo-hyun’s surprise.

“Ok it’s my turn now,” said Luhan who super drunk as well, “I never committed a crime,”

Suho shot Luhan a dirty look but Kai, Tae-yeon, Luhan, Joo-hyun and Yoona took a drink.

“Wow we are a bunch of criminals. I stole candy from the drug store but I later returned it,” laughed Yoona

“Haha I got one better. I stole a pair of boots from the store and I didn’t return those,” Tae-yeon laughed even louder

For some reason Joo-hyun wasn't getting that drunk. Maybe her tolerance was really high which is great to know. For now she had her eyes on Kai and Suho. Suho seemed so tense at that moment you could cut the tension with a knife. He was shifting his eyes between Luhan and Kai.

“I did something really bad. Way worse then you two guys,” Luhan was not thinking about what he was saying

Suho suddenly kicked him hard.

“YAY! What the hell was that for,” he rubbed his leg as he gave Suho a dirty look

“Look man this is a stupid game. I’m out,” said Suho as he suddenly got up

“Well we are still playing so you can go if you want,” said a drunk Tae-yeon

“Babe maybe you should stop too. We know how you get,” Suho pulled her up and dragged her upstairs

“He is such a party pooper these days,” said an annoyed Yoona as she walked into the kitchen

“I know and I’m his best friend so I have to deal with it every day,” said a drunk Luhan, “I mean with everything going on you would think he would be sensitive to people and be nice. People are getting stabbed left and right but no Suho is so secretive and pushy and moody. It kind of pisses me off,”

“Why do you think he’s like that?” asked Joo-hyun

“Probably because of Yuri. She’s really pushy and needy and they seem like they’re always together plotting and planning,”

“Luhan shut up. You don’t know what you’re talking about,” Kai finally stepped in

“Maybe I don’t but it sure seems that way. Ever since the Hans were killed he has been on edge and that chick, well let’s just say she can’t get more evil if she tried,”

Kai quickly turned to Joo-hyun, “He’s drunk. He doesn’t know what he’s saying,” Joo-hyun ignored him and asked Luhan one final question

“Why do think he’s tense after the Hans?”

“Things never go as plan, do they? You plan something so perfectly and in an instant. Poof! Down the drain it goes,” Luhan passed out soon after

Kai was finally able to take Joo-hyun upstairs but the wheels in her head were spinning. Suho was looking more and more guilty. Poor Luhan probably won’t remember what he told her. I mean there wasn’t anything definite but it was something. What did Suho plan that went wrong?

“Stop it,” Kai hugged Joo-hyun from the back, “Stop thinking,”

“I will,” she turned around and looked at him, she also quickly scanned the room

“Do you what to know you I was saving myself for,”

“I can take a wild guess,” she pointed to herself and laughed

“But not tonight. I am too drunk and I want our night together to be special,” he kissed her lips

She kissed him back. He smiled as he laid on the bed and closed his eyes. Joo-hyun stopped smiling and looked around his room. It was a typical boy’s room.

“Kai,” he was actually asleep

Now was her chance to explore his room. With Suho and Tae-yeon probably having and Yoona and Luhan passed out Joo-hyun took her chance. The first place she looked was through his drawers but all she found was clothes. She quickly looked over top of his dresser but nothing came up. So then she explored the closet. He had a rather large closet but his clothes were neatly placed together and boy did he have a lot of shoe boxes. She didn’t know what to look for but anything would do.

10 minutes later and still nothing was coming up. She was about to give up. She started putting the shoe boxes away when she tripped over some clothes that were on the floor of the closet. Her hand landed on something hard in one of his socks. She was shocked as she looked inside the sock. She found a needle with some of the substance still inside. All at once her heart dropped. Was Kai taking drugs? Why did he have this? Could this have anything to do with Chen?

Joo-hyun peeked outside of the closet to make sure Kai was still asleep and he was thank god but as she was about to put her head back to look at the needle she caught eyes with a angry Suho. She gasped and quickly placed the needle in her large sweater pocket.

“What the hell are you doing in there?” he walked into the closet as she stood up

“I was just looking at this huge closet. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a closet this big,” she smiled as he narrowed his eyes at her. He didn’t believe her one bit

“How come I don’t believe you,” he folded his arms

“I don’t know,” she got scared

“Why do you look so guilty then? What are you hiding?”

“You’re one to talk. You looked pretty guilty tonight when Luhan mentioned committing a crime. Why didn’t you drink? I’m sure you’ve done something along that nature at least once in your life,” she suddenly got brave

“You’ve got a lot of balls talking to me like that. You don’t know anything about me and if you start causing problems for me, you’re gonna end up in deep trouble. I don’t care if you are Kai’s girlfriend,” he was practically in her face and her face turned pale

“Why so defensive Suho? Got something to hide,”

“Mind your own business. Plus I think it’s time for you to get home. Don’t want to worry Daddy,”

She looked at her watch. It was 11:25.

“I think you’re right,” she left quickly after that

Suho was about to leave the closet when he noticed something out of place. He looked at Kai and shook his head. He had no clue his girlfriend was playing him. Well it was time he found out about his precious Joo-hyun.
