Joo-hyun for the first time in her life she was scared. She had never seen Kris this angry. Sure he was mad when he thought Kai and her slept together but this was a whole other level. He quickly locked the door. He stared her down and started pacing the room; every now and then letting out over exaggerated sighs which started to annoy her. Finally she spoke up.

“Speak now or forever hold your peace,”

“This isn’t funny Joo-hyun. What the hell do you think you’re doing!” he yelled

“What about you! And don’t yell at me. You’re the one who dragged me in here. I have class,” she tried to open the door when he grabbed her and pinned her to the wall

It was a losing battle since Kris is so much taller and stronger than her. She tried to get out of his grip but he refused.

“Stop moving and listen very carefully. You are in danger,”

“What are you talking about?”

“Why didn’t you listen to me? I told you to stay away from Kai. Why are you dating him?”

“You broke up with me. I don’t think you get to have a say in who I get to talk to,”

“I did that to protect you,” he said seriously

“OMG you’re crazy. That doesn’t make any sense. So you’re saying that whole I’m breaking up with you Joo-hyun because you don’t trust me thing was a lie,”

“Well that situation was coincidence but it gave me the perfect reason to break up with you,”

“So me getting attacked and you getting arrest; that whole situation…was…” then she started pacing, “Well I know now that you didn’t attack me because my attacker was way shorter than you,”

“I’m sorry,”

“It doesn’t explain the way you’ve been treating me,”

“I had to give you the cold shoulder,”

“Why, why do you have to protect me?”

“It’s about your mother,” Joo-hyun tensed up

“What about her? Did you know my mother?”

“No but I heard about her,”

“Everyone has heard about her,”

“But not in that way. I heard about her before her death,”

“How Kris?”

“She had something to do with my family,” he avoided eye contact with her

“Speaking of family, congratulations of having a little brother. How come you never told me about Kai?”

“It’s complicated,”

“It’s not complicated. You didn’t even tell me about your real mother and how your real father died. Kris we were together for 3 years. I mean really, you were going to keep lying to me?”

“Yes,”

“Oh well at least your honest,”

“There are things I can’t talk about with you,”

“I think you’re lying to me now. Why would my mother have anything to do with you and your family and why do I now have to stay away from Kai when we’ve been friends all along. When you and me were together you never told me to stop being friends with him. Well you told me to stop seeing him after the whole sleeping together incident but all of a sudden it’s a problem, right. You know what I think?”

“What?”

“I think you’re jealous,”

“Why would I be jealous?”

“I don’t know; sibling rivalry. And wait a minute I overheard you yelling at Kai saying I was snooping around which I wasn’t. Why would you say that?”

“I saw you and you were snooping. But I said that so he would get mad at you and break up with you. He doesn’t like people getting into his business. He gets defensive. Look I’m trying to save your life and you just want to throw it in my face,”

“I don’t trust you. You hear me. I don’t believe a word that’s coming out of your filthy mouth and I’m not going to stop seeing Kai. In fact I’m going to be seeing a lot of him,” she turned to unlock the door when he said something that stopped her

“Well then you’re going to have a target on your back,”

“Are you threatening me?” she was pissed

“No,”

“Then give me a good reason why I need to stay away and I may think about it,”

“It has to do with your mother and…” he hesitated

“Spit it out!” she yelled

“Kai’s Dad,” she was taken back

“What are you talking about?”

“Ask your father,” he reached for the door but she stood in his way

“No Kris. I’m asking you,”

“Just ask your father,” he opened the door to leave

“I hate you. Know that. You understand me,”

“I figured that much,”

He left and Joo-hyun slid down the bathroom floor and just cried.

Hey guys, sorry again for the short update, I wouldn't even call this a chapter but here it is. I may update tomorrow for you guys=) My original plan was to add this in the last chapter but I didn't want it to be too long. And unfortunately the list of people who are going to live and die has changed again. Actually the entire ending has changed but I think you'll like it.
