Donghae’s POV

She had kissed my cheek... her lips to my cheeks were the most amazing feeling and her hands on my body felt like heaven. I had really started to like Melissa, like a lot. I wanted her to move on so bad and open her eyes and see me. I wanted her to realize that it was me she wanted to move on with. I could take care of her so well and pour my love over her. Yes I was really starting to fall for her and it pained me so much that she was so miserable and that she still loved that Heechul guy that much as she did. But she had said that she was going to try to move on now, that she wanted to do it. I wasn’t going to give up on her; no I was now more than ever going to show her that I’m the right choice for her! I had never felt like this for any other girl, Melissa sure was something special. And I wanted her to love me so bad. But I had to wait for her I had to let her take the time that she needed.

When I came out to the living room Melissa was already chatting happily with Siwon, those two had gotten pretty close and I had to admit that I was a bit jealous. I went to sit with Eunhyuk who was reading a book; he looked up at me and smiled.

“Morning, how did it go with Melissa last night? She seems pretty happy now so I guess you succeeded pretty well” he said and I nodded

“Yeah, she was a bit broken but I managed to comfort her” I replied not being able to take my eyes off of her, she looked happy when she talked with Siwon, maybe it was for the best, Siwon would be able to take care of her perfectly, she would always be safe... damn... then she all of a sudden rose

“Guys I’ll go and meet my friend at the subway station as she don’t know where your dorm is, I’ll be back in a second” she announced and before anyone could protest or go with her she was out of the door

“You did a good job yesterday Donghae, she seems really happy” Siwon came up to me and said and I smiled a bit hesitantly

“Thanks, but she really seemed to enjoy talking to you” I told him

“Well I enjoy talking to her so I’m glad if she enjoys it too” he replied smiling and I felt that I just had to know if he liked her or not

“You really like her huh?” I asked

“Yeah of course, we all do” he answered

“Siwon, I think Donghae means if you like her more than a friend” Leeteuk cut in and Siwon’s eyes widened

“What? No, she’s like my little sister! I would never think like that” he said surprised and I let out a sigh in relief

“I think I know someone who thinks like that” Kyuhyun then said and smirked, oh no

“What?” Sungmin questioned confused

“One of us likes Melissa more than a friend?” Kangin asked surprised

“Yes, god it’s so obvious” Kyuhyun said a bit annoyed

“Then who is it?” Yesung wondered and Kyuhyun met eyes with me and I nodded

“Our dear Donghae” Kyuhyun said and everybody turned to look at me

“Is that true? Do you like Melissa more than a friend?” Ryeowook asked me

“Yes” I replied simply and everybody except of Kyuhyun gasped

“Wow, for how long?” Shindong then wondered

“I’ve had my eyes on her since the first time we met her, she’s truly amazing” I said and they all nodded in agreement

“But Donghae she’s still in love with her ex and if you do get her she’s going to be very breakable and sensitive, can you handle that?” Leeteuk asked me but before I got the chance to reply Siwon beat me to it

“Guys, she won’t be in love with her ex forever and I think that Donghae could take care of her really well, I mean he showed that last night” he started and then he turned to me “If you want to make her yours I’ll support you all the way” he continued

“Thanks Siwon, it means a lot to me” I told him and he smiled at me

“I think Donghae would be good for her too” Yesung then said “She needs someone calm as she’s like the most hyper girl that I’ve ever met” he continued and we all chuckled

“So are you planning on telling her?” Eunhyuk questioned

“Yes but not now, she needs some more time, but I’ll wait for her” I said and they all nodded and in the next second the door flew open and in came Melissa and she had her friend with her, she had middle long black straight hair, green eyes and she was pretty tall

“Guys this is my best friend Gabbi!” Melissa announced happily and we all went to introduce ourselves to her

“You studied at Julliard too?” Ryeowook asked her and she nodded

“Yes but I only studied music, focusing on piano and guitar” she replied

“Cool, it’s really nice to finally meet you” Siwon said and dazzled her with a smile, he was such a ladies’ man, no one could resist his charm.

“The pleasure’s all mine, Melissa has been talking nonstop about you guys, she really like all of you and I’ve noticed that you have a good affect on her” she told us and I saw how everybody looked smug, haha

 “Of course we have, we’re Super Junior” Kyuhyun said and she chuckled, she was kinda cute to be honest but she couldn’t be compared to Melissa

“But I would appreciate a phone call next time you decide to kidnap her over the night” she said severely

“Sorry, I didn’t think about that” I told her

“Next time... “She started but she was cut off by her phone

Gabbi’s POV

“Hello?” I questioned

“Gabbi!!! It’s me!” a very familiar voice exclaimed

“Hongki! Hi! How are you?” I wondered, it was Heechul’s best friend who also later became mine and Melissa’s best friend

“I’m great and you? How’s it going in Seoul?” he wondered

“I’m awesome and Seoul is awesome, we love it here” I told him happily

“I understand but listen, I’m here with Heechul and he wants to hear Melissa’s voice, so I was thinking that I could talk with her on speakerphone” Hongki said a bit carefully

“Oh”

“He misses her like hell”

“I know”

“So can you be all like “Yeah she’s here” or something like that?”

“Yeah she’s here, I’ll pass her to you… Melissa, Hongki wants to talk to you” I said and reached out the phone to her and she grabbed it immediately

Heechul was so cute; he truly loved her and missed her. I felt an urge to tell Melissa to go to New York and be with her man his remaining time in life. He was her true love, but I really hoped that she could find herself another love, maybe one of the ten boys that she spent every single day with now…

Heechul’s POV

Hongki! Hey!”

When I heard her voice it all stopped and I could feel my already weak heart break into a million of pieces all over again and the tears started to roll down my cheeks. I missed her so damn much. Hongki looked at me with pain in his eyes. I bet he regretted agreeing on calling her

“Melissa, hi, how are you?” Hongki then asked her

“Good, I guess…” she started but Hongki cut her off

“You guess?”

“Yeah, after all that happened” she said and I was bleeding, damn!

“Right…”

“How is he?” she asked a bit hesitantly

“He’s been better”

“I miss him” she whispered but it felt like she had yelled it out. It stung in my heart that she after more than three months still missed me. Maybe it wouldn’t have made any difference if I had let her stay with me. She would be just as heartbroken. I was tempted to just yell and tell her to come back to me, but I pulled myself together.

“He misses you too” Hongki said and I heard her sigh

“He hasn’t found anyone else?” she asked, how could she ever think that? I love her and her only, I told her that before she left

“No, for him there’s only you” Hongki started and then he looked at me wonderingly and I nodded, I wanted to know “And you?” he continued asking and I waited anxiously for her answers

“No… how can you possibly find another one when you’re still madly in love with your first one? It’s impossible” she said and I gasped. I wasn’t sure if I should be happy over the fact that she still loved me, it would make everything so much more difficult… what the hell! Who am I fooling!? I was freaking overjoyed over the fact that she still loved me! “But I’m going to move on, I’m gonna start looking harder now, but I’m not sure if it will work” she continued and I felt a bit broken, she was going to move on, no what was I thinking? It was amazing that she wanted to move on, that was my plan from the start! But I couldn’t help to feel sad though.

“Hang in there, you’re a fighter” Hongki told her

“I was…”

“Still are...”

“Whatever, but tell me, how’s everything going for you?”

“Good, I’m a working man now”

“Really!?” Melissa said surprised and Hongki looked annoyed and I tried not to laugh

“Yes, guitar teacher”

“Haha lucky kids”

“Well I don’t know about that”

“Of course! You’re a good teacher! I’ve learned a lot from you!” she protested

“Like what?” Hongki asked and raised a brow

“How to take a… well it was a very hard chord and you taught me how to take it!”

“Whatever you say sweetie”

“Yeah, but it was really nice to hear from you Hongki. You have to stay in touch!”

“It was really nice I agree and I will”

“Bye Hongki”

“Bye Melissa” he said and then he hung up and turned to me “You still think that you can handle dying without having her by your side?” he asked me and I shook my head

“No, but I have to, for her”
