   I sniffed and thankfully took his hand. I saw him smile from the corner of my eye but I retrieved my hand back as fast as he smile wavered.

   “Thanks.” I told him softly.

   He nodded. “Can you please get in the car now?”

   I looked down at my wet uniform and bit my lip.

   “I’m all wet.”

   He waved it off. “Doesn’t matter. Now come on.”

   I looked back inside the car and shook my head again.

   “I-I have a phobia.” I lied.

   His brow rose. “A Phobia?”

   I nodded slowly. I don’t think he bought it though.  He was still looking at me with the same face until he suddenly smirked.

   “You’re really bad at lying.”

  Great, he saw through me.

   So I gave up but still shook my head. He sighed in exasperation and looked back at his car for a few minutes and then back at me.

   “I’ll walk you then.” He shrugged.

   “Y-you’d do that?”

   “Of course. If you don’t want to take the car then we walk.”

   I smiled at him gratefully while I slung my bag over my shoulder. I watched him signal the driver to just follow us and he started walking. I followed quietly beside him while the rain started to get harder. Dongho then moved a bit closer to me while making sure we both don’t get wet. I was starting to shiver but I sighed inwardly as we neared the orphanage.

   I stopped in front of the big old building while Dongho looked up to observe it.

   “You live here?” he asked, quietly.

   I nodded in response and smiled at him. “Get going before the rain starts to get harder.”

   He finished looking at the building and his gaze returned to me.

   “I’ll walk you home again tomorrow.” He said, well it sounded like an order to me.

   But I shook my head. “No. Let’s not let this happen anymore.”

   “I want to so I will. After all, I am THE Shin Dongho.” He smirked.

   I rolled my eyes; can this guy get even more narcissistic?

   He frowned. “I am not.”

   “You heard that huh.” I muttered.

   He nodded. “I did. And because of that I’ll walk you home every day.”

   “HEY! That’s unfair!”

   He ushered me inside while I complained endlessly until he walked inside his car. But before I watched it zoom off, I saw him smirk at me as he called,

   “I always get what I want.”
