A Secret I Would Die For

Description

A Secret I Would Die For

Foreword

Before anything else, I would just like to remind everyone that this story would be written in Ella's point of view. :] Enjoy! \:D/

An ex-agent, Ella Chen. After ten years of service, she finally quits thinking that she’s dedicated too much of her life to the agency and is in need of rest. To start anew and begin a new phase in life, she finds a suitable and NORMAL job for her to begin with. She starts to face trials in life she’s been hiding from all those past years of being an agent.

A sudden meeting with this particular man wasn’t something she expected, but then occurred. She married him – her manager, sooner than expected. Because – One, he got her pregnant. Two, she loves him. Three, he loved her back. Four, they love each other and five; no person or words could break them apart.

But apart from loving each other and making love was something he didn’t know about her. He completely didn’t and perhaps, wouldn’t know until she dies what that truth we’re talking about here is.

But that reason shouldn’t make her unfair towards him. She isn’t the only one who had secrets and intentions against him. He, too, yearned to kill her indirectly. Why? You’ll find out soon…

Foreword:

I stared out the window and looked around for my husband before going out of the house. I knew it was time – finally time for my DEATH. Death - something that seems so hard to put up as a topic.

Yesterday, I heard him talking to his agents. I learned from him that they’ve found out the one and only person he’s been finding way to give revenge, which was me and as soon as he heard that, he asked his agents to kill that person in an instant.

--A flashback:

“Sir, we’ve found out who the suspect is.” A voice conversed with my husband in loudspeaker, coming from the phone. “It’s a woman.”

My reaction was priceless. I, without further hesitations knew that it was me. Something told me to back out from where I was standing and hide away from him. In a far away place that he wouldn’t see me, perhaps. But then something told me that I must just continue how I lived my everyday life and let whatever will soon happen just happen – whatever that may be.

“Kill her in an instant.” My husband replied. Not wanting to hear further explanation and hesitation, he hung up the phone.

I didn’t try to confront him and tell him the truth that it was me – the reason why his parents died, it was me. All the while, I knew about his true and utterly shocking main goal in life that was to kill me, but I didn’t try and do anything about it. I loved my husband too much to even tell him that for all the while, it was me as his wife who killed his parents a few years back.

“Oh, you’re there.” My husband turned around and saw me. “You must have heard it, right?” I nodded and went towards him.

“Is there something wrong?” He asked his not so cheerful wife that is me.

In response, I shook my head and tried to suppress a smile to assure him that everything was going just fine with my current state in life.

“How’s Camille?” He asked me, while he sat me on his lap. I smiled.

“She’s fine and she really looks like you.” I said, while he rose up an eyebrow. “Every time I look at her, it reminds me of you.” I caressed his cheeks. “Dear--“

“Hm?” He murmured, waiting for a response.

“Kiss me.” I replied. Thus, we kissed.

--End of flashback.

That last moment, that last kiss... that might be the last kiss we'll ever share. Nothing’s going to stop me now, I thought as I carefully went out of our house. After reminiscing memories, something’s supposed to be given in return – my LIFE.
