Minhyuk’s POV:

By the time Harabujee got back the guest was no longer there.

“So, where were we?” Harabujee asked and noticed that that guy is no longer around.

“Minhyuk ah, where did he go?” Harabujee asked.

“I don’t know. He received a phone call and left early.” I lied.

“That’s too bad then.” Harabujee said and proceed back to his breakfast as if nothing happened.

Harabujee immediately left for office after his breakfast and it was Youn Ju and I left as usual.

Thinking about today’s events just make me really frustrated.

I didn’t get to punch that bastard’s face because Youn Ju stopped me.

How dare he say those words in front of her!

“That guy surely has some nerve to say that in front of grandpa.” I said.

Did Uee send him to do that?

I was about to make a call to Uee when Youn Ju followed me. “Minhyuk ah,” she called.

“What?” I asked her in an annoyed tone.

“Thanks for defending me, but what he said is true. We are not in a real relationship, so no need to get frustrated and worked up.” She said.

“You think this is about you?” I shouted.

“Isn’t it?” she asked.

“Of course not. If anyone knows about our relationship then I would be doomed. Harabujee would be disappointed in me and before we even finish our agreement, I might be removed as a successor next to him. I can’t afford to lose that right?” I told her, not caring if my words would hurt her or not.

We are not in a real relationship anyway. This is just all an agreement. Might as well be clear of my plans so that she won’t get confused when the time comes.

Telling her this would be good, so that after all of this is over she could happily run over to Yook Sungjae, without worrying that I might get mad or something.
