"THAT'S not how it works…"
Angry knots appeared on Ryujin's forehead while listening to Yerim's annoying laughter. The latter even ignored everything that she said and just kept on laughing.
"Go ahead, laugh all you want. Laugh until you laugh everything that you can laugh for the whole year." Ryujin just looked outside of the restaurant and sighed. She wasn't even bothering with eating whatever Yerim put on her plate. "You really crushed my chance. I thought I was already having a good date. That girl was actually my type physically..."
"I just couldn't handle the look on her face when she saw me." Yerim said in between snickers. She even wiped the tears from the side of her eyes. "That was really funny. I should've recorded it and showed it to Joohyun-unnie."
"Stop please… Let me have romance in peace. It's been a long time since I last got into a relationship." Ryujin continued to sulk. She's already too tired of Yerim's bullying. "Stop appearing on my blind dates just to threaten my dates."
"I won't appear just like that if I don’t get a bad feeling about your date." Yerim put some meat in before continuing. "I sensed danger that's why. I am just helping you."
"I don't know what danger you're talking about." Ryujin sighed as she closed her eyes, remembering how her date dashed away after the spoiled brat/personal manager appeared. "You are literally the danger. People flee just at the sight of your face."
With Chairman Kim and Hyunmi teaming up to make a management team for Overtime Band, the members continued with performing as a group while also working at the days they aren't that busy with their band promotions. Of course, with Chairman Kim being one of their main producers, Yerim took the chance to say goodbye to her boring internship and do full time work as the manager of the band. Her name was made known as the crazy, scary OTBand Manager who never backs down, whether it's in front of obsessed fans or abusive production teams.
"Stop bothering my pursuit of happiness--" Ryujin's whining was stopped when Yerim suddenly put meat in mid-sentence.
"I know a user when I see one. I've been dealing with them all my life." Yerim confidently answered; that smirk on her face was proof. "The girls you meet are all dangerous. As your manager, it's my responsibility to keep you safe from hyenas."
Ryujin's shoulders dropped even more. "Here I am thinking that I was the hyena..."
The guitarist straightened her back as she faced Yerim. She then cleared before talking again. "Look, Manager-nim… You're babying me too much. All my bandmates have their own love lives and I am the only one without it. Please, just let me date people."
Yerim looked at her with disbelief. "Didn't you hear what I just said? I will let you in peace if I know you are meeting with someone nice. Just one look and I know they won't be good for you."
"How can you judge someone in your first meeting?" Ryujin just shook her head and emptied her beer glass. "My words aren't really getting through you."
She was about to pour Yerim some alcohol but the girl swatted her hand. "I am not drinking. I am going to drive you home."
Ryujin's eyes widened in annoyance. "What's the use of you sitting here with me if you're not going to drink with me!?" The guitarist then ruffled her own hair. "It's not fun if I am going to be the only one drinking! I should call the others--"
"Everyone is on their own dates with their partners." Yerim innocently said, which made Ryujin even more agitated.
"Why am I the only one without a partner!?" Ryujin grabbed a new glass, poured alcohol on it and shoved it to Yerim. "Drink! We will just call a proxy driver!"
>>Fast forward>>
THE two found themselves giggling nonsensically while high on alcohol at the parking lot where they tried to call for a proxy driver. The two were sitting on the backseat while laughing at random things that were brought up in their directionless conversation.
“So, you really have to stop ruining my dates, Yerim-ssi.” Ryujin said, she was slurring her words. “There’s really no need to be worried abou
